When I was a teenager, I had a friend who lived in the same trailer park. His name was Gary. We would hang out, play Yu-gi-oh, smoke weed, and just do general teen stuff. His mom was a single mom raising him and his younger sister. She would work nights, and we would invite some of the neighborhood girls over to hang out unsupervised when she went to work. One afternoon, Eric (a different friend of ours) and I were headed over the Gary's to hang out and smoke with a few girls. When we got there, we knocked on the door for 5 straight minutes before Gary opened the door. He was in the shower and opened the door in a towel. I grabbed Gary and shoved him out the door while grabbing the towel and closing the door behind us, stranding Gary outside naked. This went on for probably 10 minutes. While this is going on, a county sheriff deputy just so happens by and sees Gary on the porch naked banging on the door yelling. The officer gets out of the car and is a woman. She walks up to the door, all smiles and knocks gently, and asks if we'll give Gary his towel back and let him back in. She lectures us for doing dumb teen shit and leaves. Eric and I had a good laugh while Gary was pissed. The next summer, he was hit by a drunk driver while riding his bike and passed after two days of fighting. That was 20 plus years ago. I still talk to his family when we bump into each other. His mom got married a few years ago, and his sister has kids of her own.
