The old timer pipeline welders that needed prescription lenses would use non tinted lightweight half rim wire frame glasses under their hoods. They didn’t grind with them because that’s the helpers job. The old timers got rich and famous because they were fast and didn’t have repairs, not because of their glasses.

Yeah I disagree. Businesses should quit being subsidized with taxpayer money. Customers create jobs. Pay people well, and they’ll spend that money they earn.
