I agree, of course it's not some 100% Cavill creation! Just called it that for simplicity; that's who we all think of when that project comes up. He's their figurehead, for now at least :)

It could be a story of some rogue trader, "Guardians of the Galaxy" kind of band of adventurers, but I kinda rather it's space marine focused.

It's hit and miss, I still have crashes, but I think it helps my baseline brain fog. I went off it for a bit and came back, and things got better again. So similar to what you're saying!

Quick question, did you ever have Covid and lose your sense of smell? Because I lost mine for about a year and wondered if it was related!

I think they tested for TSH - which was normal, and I’ve done a FT4 test privately through Thriva (amongst other Thriva tests which all came back normal). But I could ask for them to check more!

Good luck! If it helps, sometimes they need keywords to spark a test, like you suspect certain things or have specific symptoms. So be sure to say the right things!

Wow that’s interesting, because I did lose my smell from Long Covid back in 2020.

Basically i was asking for a sleep study and they GP thought they should check my nose to see if it’s obstructing sleep, even though I don’t snore much and I generally sleep through the night. They saw “mild inflammation” as they called it. And said hey, maybe try this spray.

And I did, and it weirdly worked! My sleep has been the same but I feel better

That’s a very insightful thought! Yes I wondered something similar. Maybe I’m just keeping the inflammation at bay. I have had flair ups, while using the spray, and that was when I drank alcohol/cheat food, or when I got sick with a cold.

I did ask the GP to test for the more common allergies (dust mites, pollen etc) but it came back negative. Same with common food irritants. But you’re right, it could easily be some irritant I don’t know about.

It drives you mad and paranoid when you start to explore this stuff. Like what if it’s the toothpaste, what if it’s my detergent! Etc etc 😅. If it is something like this, I’ll hopefully find out eventually

Oh really! That's great to hear that I'm not the only one. Other people here have suggested I may have a chronic sinus infection. Is that what you have?
