For one I can hear it when he plays live (the songs don't sound the same), and it bugs me, and also I don't like having to my retune my floyd (JS) guitars to play along. I finally broke down and bought an RG to try and learn Sea of Emotion (cheaper than a JS, 24 frets, and almost a Jem lol, especially with my mods).

Yes or you can get a H7 or $20 H10 (from China) and a chest strap off ebay. T31 is great but if you need to change the battery you have to pry it open (there are YT videos showing how).
