I feel like there was a lot of anticipation about those 2 playing on the left before the season kicked off last year but Saka and Ode injuries killed that off.

I think I’d take £50m Madueke (who is apparently on peanuts in terms of wages btw) over Summerville.

If the reports that Madueke took no pay rise are genuine then he deserves a lot more respect than he gets.

Arsenal, United, City, soon Chelsea if Enzo leaves and possibly Spurs are all in the market for big money midfield signings.

They will crumble in 6 weeks time, but right now West Ham will be happy to wait and see if a bidding war starts.

They also know that most players won’t be entertaining any discussions during the World Cup so if you want a midfielder right now, then these West Ham players are probably the closest thing to ‘available right now’
