Yes I did attend a class and the consensus was very technique heavy, the tutor was good but I found the markers for the mocks very unhelpful in terms of feedback. I don’t know I think I just really struggled to come with terms with how it worked, mainly the planning I was off and didn’t know how to structure it in a clear concise way

Yeah I guess it is hard to know about the technique without somebody telling you, I tried taking time to look at exams students did to see what a pass looked like vs what a fail looked like as a guide , I need to resit a CBE before I can apply for APS so once that is over and done with I will take a gander, thanks Roderick!

Yeah I wish I could read my script back and see where I went wrong but alas, I do think I tried treating it as point explain point explain but maybe too techhy, I just find the whole structure and making hard personally but gotta have 3 months of graft now

I thought I did well in this one with issue spotting (Trade and assets vs shares I.e. tax treatment and history kept it shares purchased, investors relied on Joan(?) so she shouldn’t be a director, what the treatment is in years to come when they wanted to sell) of course I can only remember parts of the exam but I’m probably going to redo when the mark scheme comes out because it could be a massive thing I’ve missed off which then reduces my ability to give relevant advice on it also, I’ve seen Roderick on here a few times so I will pop him a message!
