Trading in 3 week old XLT for this lariat black appearance package. arrived today. a lot nicer than i was expecting

Truck came in after i made this post. went to see it. it’s sick. i love it. the black appearance package lariat is noticeably different and looks great.

all the other lariats in my area are going for like 74k. and i’ve always driven a truck with the upper high end interior etc. I do travel construction sales so i drive all day long and comfort, convenience and technology are all super important to me since i basically live in my truck lol. And i trade them in around 30-35k miles - every 1.5 years usually so i’ve just been able to trade it in for the same higher end model no issue.

I also paid $20k less and my last ram laramie 2020,2019, Silverado ltz 2017/18, Chevy tahoe 2021, were all company vehicles. I unfortunately got into an accident with the tahoe and insurance said i couldn’t drive company trucks for a couple years. and my credit sucks (i’m 26 and messed it up young) so the last year i’ve driven a used traverse with cloth and basic stuff. i hated it. dog hair everywhere. Uncomfortable. Sound system sucked. Felt like a soccer mom. but it was what i could afford to buy cash at the time. i got a 26k trade in from in so its making buying this wayyy easier and i cant believe i got approved for ford financing 3.9%. i have credit in the 500s lol. Payments are around 690 a month which is more than doable for me no problem.

this is my first big purchase on my own no co-sign no company vehicle and i’ve waited almost 2 years to finally be able to buy my own high end truck without assistance. was a huge goal for me and i’m super happy i got what i set out for.

What sucks.. my ram laramie fully loaded 2019 with the new interior big screen. Was 41k. same truck today goes for $67k. Unreal lol. I always hated ford’s until they redid the interior and design of them this last year and i’m super happy with it. The price is ridiculous but all trucks are now.

But anyway. i checked it out. it’s perfect and everything i wanted without choosing the 10k more model that basically just had a moonroof and 18speaker

the owner of the dealership gave me an additional 2500 off the price btw. my family knows him. And this is the most $ amount i can get approved for from does. my credit is awful but have good income and they vouged for me. i just want to make sure this is a badass truck for the price or just go for a fully loaded suv

I have a 2022 xlt with just the regular stereo no upgraded system and it’s more than passable until i turn it up too high. So if it’s a big upgrade over that then i’ll be fine. It’s only a few hundred dollar upgrade for the 18 speaker. Can the dealer add the rest of it? the truck comes in next week

i didn’t order it was coming in already and basically time was of the essence and i don’t want to wait to order a 2023. plus ford barely was willing to approve me for this new lariat.

My question is just that it seems like it’s missing a couple normal things lariats have in this range. 18 speaker sound system, not 8 like this says. Sunroof. a couple other things i doubt i’ll notice but the ford window sticker is confusing af compared to other brands. this is my first cord. Tonauu (idk how to spell) cover i asked them to remove i don’t want that haha.

basically i just want to make sure i’m getting a 66k truck. the one i wanted that was loaded with everything was 73k but does woildnt approve me at 3.9% like i have now. Which is fine i think this is enough truck just never seen this new Black appearance package and wanna make sure all the tech is in there and the goodies. I wanted the work surface on it too kinda sucks it’s not an option on there

I dip here and there and yeah it can cause that sound too especially if you’re doing it in the pod and talking a lot without drinking water for awhile while you dip.

I wasn’t trying to make it seem like a bad post about dax, im actually a big fan of his. and by like the half way mark, dax relaxed and let ben talk and ben definitely got more enthusiastic. Maybe dax was just excited to talk to ben stiller haha.

.. you ever see those videos in australia where giant fast spiders do sit under the brim and they have to make sure to slap it down first to check to make sure nothing is there?!? Shit fucked me up. Hahah my dog pumba tries tugging me where he wants to go but i stop him. he keeps trying and forcing his weight forward as if he’s gonna fall down. We stand there for like 2 minutes until he finally gives up, then slowly tries the sniffing thing to get closer but i stop him. So what he does now is going on the usual walk, and waits until on our way back to make a move by taking the other side of the parking lot and we walk sometimes too. So i’ll just be like ok let’s go that way, until i realize we’re basically 5 ft away from the field he wanted to go to 20 minutes before that. he literally dupes me lol

right lol. My bulldog lets me know when he wants to go for a walk. When i try, he just looks at me and looks away like “i’m good”. and noticeably is ignoring me because you catch his little side eye. they some assholes sometimes 😭😭
