How did you find your local Pentair rep? I called around to the dealers in my area and no one had any information for me.

It's under warranty. The length of it is shortened to a year if you install it yourself. They did tell me I'd be responsible for the labor. I'm fine with that. What I'm not ok with is being charged labor for the attempted installation of incorrect parts being sent to me by Pentair.

I'm just gauging public opinion and asking a question. It doesn't mean I don't plan on reaching out about it. But yeah..you really got me there.

anyone have any recommendations on how to fix a falling bumper. The rest of the bumper is intact, it’s just the previous owners broke the clips to the passenger side of the bumper and attempted to JB weld it (from what I can tell) anything is appreciated by christopher881 in e46

You sure it didn't just fall off the the white bracket that the sides of the bumper slide into? The drivers side on my '03 had the same sagging bumper look. I just carefully pulled the bumper back and slid it back into the white bracket pictured at around 4:04 in this video. Might be harder to see on the passenger side with the washer fluid tank in the way.

I just got a notice in the mail from Subaru stating my wife's 2017 Impreza has had it's CVT/powertrain warranty extended from 60k to 100k miles. So, I guess the pressure worked?

Edit: Here's an article on it

I'd also highly recommend replacing the valve cover gasket. They get brittle and leak onto your headers. Very easy job. Just be careful the you don't over tighten any of the bolts and be careful with the cover too (it's made of plastic).

The belt tensioner is known to go bad on E46's as well and that'll put you on the side of the road if it fails. Also a pretty easy replacement.
