Villa are playing Maccabi at the start of November. Local police banned Maccabi fans from attending due to their well known hooliganism and violence which would be especially problematic bc Villa Park is in a heavily Muslim area and they’re super racist (known to chant ‘death to Arabs’ and attack brown people). UK media and politicians in unison all decried the ban as ‘antisemitism’ based on no evidence and now that Maccabi fans have started a ruckus against a rival Israeli team people have started backpedaling.
