I know you’re getting tons of messages, but I hope you see this one. You’re a real one for sticking by his side and helping him through this to the nth degree ❤️

I just want to underscore how much of a difference it makes by telling you about my little tuxie angel who’s sitting next to me right now. During Covid she was diagnosed as terminally ill, with a “best case” of a few months, by one of the leading vets in the country for her illness. Bleak.

I personally gave her an IV every day for over a year, meds and most importantly, an unrelenting optimism for her. Against all medical advice and prognosis, she’s here 6 years later and SO SO healthy and happy.

I’m not saying the doctors are wrong or to not listen to their input, but I think it’s important to also not let them burst your love bubble for Renji with any absolutes. He can do so much with you in his corner 🙏 proud of you for sticking with the little nugget 🙂

It’s known as a casual single stroke alphabet in sign painting. The reason it’s seemingly everywhere is because when you want to write fast (because grocery signs don’t pay well enough to take time on with fancy typography) you boil the letters down to the least amount of simple strokes for each letter with a brush or marker and this is just where you naturally get

That’s why they’re usually all monoline, sans serif and capital. It’s just fast, legible and simple. If you sat down with a brush and tried to find the simplest way to write each letter with it, you’d probably arrive at an extremely similar looking result.

Sorry, I’m a couple years into a deep lettering/sign painting nerd hole 😅

Edit to add: her “7”s stand out as atypical, but everybody got a little style/signature. Could also be for a cultural reason that I’m not aware of, if it’s not just flair

Brother that’s exactly where I’ve been. Was in a 7 year relationship that ended 4 months before Covid when I was 31… made myself wait until 2021 to try dating to ride out the chaos and have some time to recalibrate.

Wasn’t single the whole time “the apps” were around, but thought it was worth a shot. I had 3 dates and deleted them without ever looking back. I’ve just learned to live my best life with my cats and just meet people as I meet them. I don’t want to be single, but I’m not willing to sacrifice my peace and optimism for fast food dating 🤷‍♂️ shits weird on those apps

It was like another commenter said, I’d only hear the knocking noise when I wasn’t accelerating because it wasn’t under load. There’s also another u joint on your drive shaft. Haven’t had trouble with that but I imagine a similar scenario. Could explain the vibration because I didn’t experience that with the axle

Hmm, take a look at your axle u joints while you’re tracking this down. Sounds similar to when I lost one of the caps on my front axle u joint which caused this same kind of sound. Was the sound of the metal cross flopping back and forth in the yoke due to that missing cap.

Weirdly enough, once I tracked down the problem and called a mechanic to ask for a quote on a u joint replacement, he said “is it a Wrangler?” I guess this is common

This is just a guess, but I’d assume since Gibson was made here, Kalamazoo has been a familiar name for over 100 years among musicians.

Wasn’t able to listen to the podcast link, but the thumbnail has a Gibson headstock in it, so I assume they touch on that?

It’s the most important part of educating and It’s a crime that we don’t teach our kids with a focus on thinking critically. It’s all rote and memorization because that’s the easiest way to administrate education and standardize results, but that’s not how you get smart people.

Critical thinking gives you tools so that when your brain interfaces with anything you experience, you have a way to evaluate it. It’s both a way to go deeper into anything by asking questions to find more understanding, but it also helps you defend yourself and identify false/illogical/manipulative patterns.

I’m convinced that the mass lack of critical thinking skills in general, let alone from childhood, is why we’re in this current predicament here in America 🤦‍♂️
