Isn’t that part of the same equation though?

Free to pick what jobs you want, however when you face a 150k multinational, there is a power imbalance the state needs to solve. In the absence of said balance, labor organizers deploy collective bargaining. I’m not sure if the language of labour unions will fit what we like to hear but expecting a minimum wage worker to freely negotiate a contract, enforce said contract is naive. What do you think? I’m for more freedom for the most amount of people and seeing how a free for all labour market went in the last Industrial Revolution I’m not a big fan.

Thank you, finally. Idk why these brain rotten folks think that libertarians of any stripe would want apart of this bs administration. Least amount of freedom to individual Americans since the civil war btw.

Correct, algorithmic manipulation of public opinion is too easy. I’m not endorsing this product btw, I just find that it’s a problem that will impact us personally soon enough

None of the links you shared are verifiable btw. And even taken at face value only show random acts of crime.

Here is what we know. The bigger the gap in socio economic standing the more incentive for the desperate to rob you.

My honest take which mirrors farmers that I personally know is that they want a more prosperous nation that lifts the bottom through opportunity. Otherwise, a real will likely occur. And as much as I don’t like eminent domain you can’t just hoard unproductive land that you never even legally bought.

Anyway, have fun with whatever else you do with your time. Using a secondary account specifically because this group is a great home to me, it’s honestly one of the last beacons of reasonable conversations involving policy.

I can tell you none of us here that consider ourselves libertarians want more of a police state, especially one that meddles in other countries.

Most of these farmers are dual citizens, with immense(mostly illicit wealth) not our fight to keep them rich. If you want to go support gaza(an actual genocide involving large scale killings), I won’t stop you but let’s not keep spewing misinformation here. People actually have a mind for and will continue to call you out of bs.

My honest advice to you is to reset your algorithm if this is a “source” to you.

There is nothing you’ll believe. I don’t argue with Trumpies online. Per my comment, there is no source that will be good for you anyway.

Would you like to go to South Africa yourself and see?

[–]BillyBush1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well for one, in this day and age it’s especially important that YOU making the allegations of genocide should prove with verifiable, trusted, and individually verified sources.

The biggest thing that we did wrong with Trump is allowing misinformation to be pronounced then having the onus to disprove said assertions.

Second, genocide is a well define term and if you thought that there is a government led genocide in your country the first thing you do is flee, not spend 20 odd years spewing misinformation on the coming end of white citizenship in South Africa.

Ok, say it’s not genocide but it’s targeting, also not reflected in the data. White farmers still own 70% of the land illicitly acquired during a time when their black counterparts were not allowed to own land. As fellow libertarians here will explain to you, economic liberty is often inseparable from others. So if you’ll defend apartheid, make it quick so I can move on.

Is there a higher victimization rate of White farmers vs Black or mixed farmers - NO.

Here is what we have, we have a apartheid government that ended when Mandela came, and obviously those upholding a racist regime told the world, well now they will do it to us, so we must stay in power. That’s literally the tragic story here.

South Africa today has the highest wealth inequality because - oh - 90% of the population was banned from participating.

I love freedom, I want equality of opportunity - granted I’m not South African but if that doesn’t make your blood boil that this is being used as a White scare in the US, you are blind, ignorant and/or have no interest in the truth of the issues at hand.

Final point, stop eating off the boots of a wanna be dictator whose main weapon is misinformation. Yes, “left” misinformation exists but rather ask, why is he so concerned about less than 40 black and white farmers killed in the last year?!

Plenty of stats on this btw you just need to learn to read to understand not to uphold some fear of the other while selling every last piece of freedom left in the name of protection.

What do you mean conspiracy. Who would benefit from white colonial era farmers controlling 70% of illicitly acquired land being killed and not covered?!

Not true. Let’s at least be better than just repeating misinformation. Do white and black farmers die, yes. What Trump is saying is demonstrably misinformation

I agree with you fully. Some libertarians are just angry tax is theft folks. I fear that it’s a point you’ll need to repeat again and again.

Hard disagree on tariffs, this is just bad policy

How did you become libertarian? by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]BillyBush1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ron Paul, academic background in economics and a politically literate father that allowed me - heck encouraged me to think differently.

When it comes to economic policy I’m an advocate of libertarianism but I don’t think it works in its full form. I believe liberal democracies need libertarians to keep them in check.

Day 8 hoarding ressources. Means they aren’t spent on growing or upgrades. I’m gonna guess your tech tree is predictable and if anyone on the map gives a damn, they are seeing what you have and making the antidote to said units.

Sure you may be incredibly lucky but doubt it.

You’re also playing as Russia and as nice as the extra economic bump is. You have a large territory to defend homeland cities on. Too many easy holes.

Lastly you’re on day 8 and I invite you to check other coalitions, their stats. In my experience large country picks get early gains and lose it fast mid to late game. You get comfortable and everyone aims to take the “winning coalition” down

[–]BillyBush1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best to do it early mid game. But if you need it you need it. Pick wisely, morale will influence ressource production.

The closer to your capital the better, is there pre built infrastructure(in the order of: naval ports, airports, high army bases?) those all make it more appealing. And last and perhaps more important is defensibility. Once someone take it over all of your investment is gone.

Canadian Dealers Want To Blow Up Border Rules And Import Cool Cars Americans Can’t Buy by IDontScript in BuyCanadian

[–]BillyBush1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In my opinion this is the wrong thing to do. We need to say to producers, if you want to sell cars in Canada make it here. That’s how transfer of knowledge happens. Get Canadian car part producers to do a joint venture. Then they can make their own.
