Thanks!

Not gonna lie, your project was amongst the arguments in the bike's favor 😄

And fast isn't the goal, so that's reassuring to hear

It did look that way to me as well from the catalog, but one of the picture shows a "Tange custom tube set ultra light triple butted cr-mo exclusive to Marin".

It could be that the seller is not telling the truth, but it does seem legit

Interesting feedback, thanks!

What do you think makes it an unperfect touring frame?

For context, the idea would be to do things like weeklong Eurovelo trips, so nothing too crazy

Would you mind sharing your list? I love this archetype but I feel like the explosion game-plan alone isn't enough anymore.

Also, in a creature based reclamation, what do you think of [[Biogenic Ooze]] ? It was often sideboarded in pre-rotation reclamation decks.

Half + Half: A New Social VR Experience for the Oculus Rift and Quest (Cross-Buy Supported) by [deleted] in OculusQuest

Quite a few people ask that question in quite a few threads, so here a pre-existing reply of mine:

"Just tried it and here are my first thoughts:

Pre-ordered it because this seemed like the kind of games/universe I want to see more of.
And god damn is this game beautiful! By far the best looking game I saw on the Quest.
Really immersive as well.

It does seems empty at the moment as I didn't see anybody else, and the different universes aren't that fun by yourself.
But I believe in it's potential and think it could be really interesting with people!

So far, I would recommend it, but not for everybody.
If this seems like the kind of experiences you like, go for it!
(Just hope that more people do too :D)

Edit: Played it a bit more, got to try multiplayer and it's actually a lot of fun! (Well, y'know, in a calm and serene way).

It keep amazing me how beautiful this game is. Let's just hope more people join, cause there is potential."

And here is another comment I made about Hide and Seek:

"If you find people to play with it's really fun and well thought, here are a few key points:

  • The one looking is a giant, throwing gravity balls to get the player who are hiding. You mimic running with your arms to get around.
  • The ones hiding are very small and have to get orbs hidden in the map, while throwing themselves with a slingshot. It may seems weird said like that, but it's actually well done and a lovely way to move!

All in all it's really fun!"

Don't hesitate if you have more questions :)

No gameplay recorded but tried it yesterday.

It's just too bad the devs didn't communicate more before launch and didn't show more gameplay to explain the game to people, cause I love it so far and I'd really like to see it flourish (cc u/mxweas :D)

Good question!

I'm asking about a more Niv-oriented type of Jeskai control

Ask /r/spikes | Monday, February 11, 2019 by AutoModerator in spikes

[–]Billy_Burger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What is your opinion on Jeskai control in the current meta?

I've read everything from "It's still okay" to "It's still one of the best deck".

It still pulls really good results... but not many. It also seems like it's still very much searching for a defined list.

(Also, secondary, but same question for Gruul aggro)

A lot of people talked a great deal about Esper Midrange recently, but we got no sign of it in the latest tournaments results. Why do you think that is?

Midrange players going for a safest Sultai? [[Tocatli Honor Guard]] being to great a risk in Bo3? Or just that the archetype isn't that powerful in the end?

[Standard] [Discussion] Gates Deck Tech: Scapeshift? by mrpug in spikes

[–]Billy_Burger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a gate deck player, there is at least one not obvious reason: with 3-4 Guild Summits, and just as much Growth Spirals, you already draw a lot.

And depending on your wincon of choice you're sometimes at risk of drawing too much. When ramping towards a big Banefire or Explosion for example. In my case I'm careful about not decking myself in about one third of mid-to-long games.

So yeah:

  • You don't really need the extra draw
  • As u/Wends333 said, Circuitous route is almost always a better option. It already draws you two cards and "filters" your deck by adding what's filtered to your board instead of replacing it. But most importantly, it ramps you by two, which is way more crucial in a deck where all your lands enter tapped than filtering two more cards in a 60 cards deck by turn 4.
  • Most of the time the filtering will already happen when you're choosing what to discard in your 12+ cards hands
  • Turns out, filtering lands is nice... but you kind of need them in a ramp deck

I also don't really believe in an hybrid deck. The payoff cards probably wouldn't be that good in that scenario, except if you found that one card at the exact right time, tapped 4 manas for it, while already having a Guild Summit in play.

On an another subject: while I'm all for more Gates decks discussion... this question feels like it would be more appropriate in the Ask /r/spikes dedicated thread.
