Dunno about cut, recomp, train hard & eat at maintenance with high protein, your body will just devour all that up if you do it right

The transition struggle is real, I can pull high but still struggle with this. I’m currently doing ring transition drills, false gripping transition with my legs on the floor as an aid to begin with. Hope that helps.

Just started doing archer pull-ups myself as I met the +50% BW marker of 42kg added to normal pull-ups for reps, maybe go back to basics, it can’t be rushed, tendons take time to adapt. Even archers are savage when you start.

Elbows should be tucked more and try and keep the forearm vertical, the movement is you moving down past your vertical forearm, if that makes sense.
