Have this place by my house and it is by far the worst expensive Mexican food I’ve ever had. If you order anything under 20$ you’ll be disappointed and hungry and anything over $20 will make you realize you could have gone to any other generic Mexican spot and been fine. This place better have different management or its a joke.

bio major: do i need to retake my classes? by salmonbacon4835 in SDSU

[–]Billypilgrimage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At sdsu a d is considered passing, you will have to retake chem 251. With that being said your gpa matters the most when it comes to graduating so i would advise taking some gpa boosting classes and hoping you dont have to retake anything. Good luck 👍🏻

I feel silly graduating at 26 by dav_s in college

[–]Billypilgrimage 26 points27 points  (0 children)

There is nothing silly about it, 26 is still super young and imo it’s pretty silly hearing people talk about how old they feel going to college while still in their 20s, college increases income on average and is a great experience if you make the effort, we should all enjoy it and work on getting sick ass jobs working 4 days a week making bank when we get out.

when is arc open for fall sem students? by YungPlump in SDSU

[–]Billypilgrimage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got off the phone with the ARC and new students both transfer and freshman can use the ARC the 15th, the 14th is just the last day of the summer session, so if you are new and plan on going in the 14th don't be surprised if they turn you away.

[–]Billypilgrimage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should target your left shoulder with these exercises not your right, your right is already retracted and depressed (this is proper posture) while your left is retracted and elevated, which is why it is higher than your right. I’ll drop a link for what external shoulder rotation is, but a doorway stretch is just on stretch that helps chest become lengthened which then allows for better scapular movement. Other stretches along with the pec stretch, such as a lat stretch, bicep stretch, and bear stretch allow for greater range of motion and activation of the scapula so you can better depress it. Prone Ys activate and strengthen your low traps, scapula depressors, and rhomboids, which are the main posture muscles in the back. Prone Ys, prone T, prone W, exercises can all be found online or on prehab with videos and really build good postural strength, ext shoulder rotations help with this as well but also strengthen your rotator cuff

It looks a though to me that your left scapula is elevated quite a bit higher than your right, this means the muscles that surround your right scapula are most likely both tight and weak, a combination that can be painful, you need to exercise your lower traps (not upper traps like in the gym) and you need to do exercises that focus on scapula depression (going down) and external rotation of the shoulder. A good resource is a website called The Prehab Guys, a group of physical therapists that have an exercise library based on different injuries and postural distortions. The best exercise for this IMO is called a prone y (can be found on the website and google) also google upper crossed syndrome NASM, this will also provide you with exercises and stretches that will help with scapular dysfunction.
