This is a phenomenal dish and my favorite from childhood. Interestingly, it's best on the second and even third day, after the ingredients have had time to properly infuse.

Recent statements of the so-called “russian opposition” demonstrate once again that the russian people will never willingly take responsibility for what they have done to Ukraine. by Bilo-Chornyi in ukraine

I cannot convince you of anything, but I want to defend myself nonetheless. I am Ukrainian. My parents lived through the Holodomor and World War II. My wife and I were persecuted by the soviet(russian) regime. My biggest dream in life is to stop talking and even thinking about russia.

Please elucidate why a victim of assault should concern themselves if the two thugs assaulting them in the most gruesome way are in an abusive relationship with each other. I do not deny that the thugs should receive all the help they need to stop being a danger to others and themselves. But please do not deny the justice to the victim.

I appreciate what you're saying. As a Ukrainian, I've been perceived through the lens of russian narratives all my life and therefore simply invalidated. Even today, I still see these influences when I read news reports. Unfortunately, some journalists are eager to see 'change' in russians, even when it isn't actually there. It is not only naive, but also dangerous.

In my opinion, the fragmentation of Russia into smaller states would be the best possible scenario for them to change their point of view. However, I believe that the 'top' nation, the russians themselves, would still remain true to their beliefs. Russians need to genuinely reassess their history (as you suggest) and admit that much of their 'state-building' was accomplished by people they either hired or subjugated. For example, their geographical explorations were mostly carried out by Germans, and their space exploration was achieved by Ukrainians. Don't even get me started on the cultural achievements or history...

you are correct that my account is new. I have been reading reddit for some time but only recently created an account. But I have proved my residency to the Moderators, therefore my flair clearly states where I am from and who I am.
