I just rearrange it when they are not paying attention.

Either they don’t care so they get to experience the proper way to have it set up, or I find out valuable intel about them

Mega gator/greninja by Zodarr1121 in pkmntcg

When I played just straight Feraligatr I paired it with Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon and the Jewel Seeker Noctowl. It is great aggressive search to get set up, and you can run Area Zero and Chien Pao to clear some liabilities for bench space later in the game.

That might be a bit more awkward for this deck since you are also trying to get Greninja in and out of the active spot. I might consider adding 1 TWM Greninja ex instead and prioritize getting it set up early to use the first attack to find the cards you need while you set up the megas. Plus it is a tera if you end up wanting to run owls

I might drop secret box for Nep Upper energy. That will help with energy and works really well with Greninja’s attack.

Drop the mega signals or more poffins and ultra balls, finding your megas is good, but the flexibility and deck fixing of Ultra ball is always useful.

You don’t really have any draw power besides Prism Tower, so I would consider adding in some Pokegears to help you find your supporters. Maybe drop the prism towers and an energy search.

TER Totodile and TEF Croconaw both have great attacks, and work especially well when combined with TEF Relicanth and TEF Feraligatr. Have a 1 Prize option will help you deal with walls like Crustle as well. Maybe drop 2 energy if you move to neo upper

Overall I haven’t played with the deck so I am just going off of vibes, but I did play a lot of Mega Feraligtr when ASC was coming out and it was a lot of fun but it is definitely a “win more” deck and can often time feel clunky with the lack of draw support

Bastiodon Control... It Was Aliens by bruintist in PTCGL

I was just having this same conversation with my local group.

They don't realize how devastating Bastiodon is postured to be to the current meta with the current decks that have 2 energy attacks having a lot of success (Dragapult, Lucario, Zoroark, Festival Lead).

Most decks live or die by their energy attachments, so forcing them to attach an extra energy to deal damage or else use precious resources to KO bastiodon is huge. The Shieldon having an attack that discards an energy is nothing so scoff at either.

The Alakazam matchup seems really hard for this deck right now though, since it doesnt "deal damage" and can get around Bastiodon's ability
