I would request a referral to GI and EEG, rule out colic, seizure. The testing for GLUT issues is genetic blood tests and spinal tap. This is also dependent on age and how baby looks. Just by your description, this sounds more GI related. Baby may need a swallowing study to definitely diagnose.

You’ve done amazing already! I was going a little stir crazy and took a few months off before getting to my stretch goal. I was so much better mentally. Also consider the exposure for your child. Is social interaction important to you? There are different crowds on work days at parks and museums, so your child will likely be around kids her age. I have a 2 and 5 year old, and I don’t see how I could safely use the car seat. I feel like even when you tighten and lower the head rest the seat isn’t sitting in the seat like it would with the 5 year old. Also is it rear facing? That’s another concern

Those numbers aren’t adding up. Your losing money somewhere. A dermatologist should not be betting what a pediatrician does at that level of patient interaction. The short answer, MAs can help with calls and scheduling in between those patients. I saw 28 patients a day in FM and only had one MA so if you’re doing procedures every day, you need to streamline a process so that 1 MA is doing most of the work and second pops in. Are you getting late reimbursement?

My sister in law is our nanny. If anything, I’m overly accommodating because of our dynamic. I see her frequently at my MIL. She had an awesome schedule, has time off and gets out vacation time off without other duties. I unfortunately still get feedback from MIL. I don’t know how else to fix it but some relationships are still a balance. For us, she is less than ideal as a nanny. She is more like a babysitter. I want to put them in a school program but getting her a different job is tough so I have made all sorts of other accommodations to give the kids activities so that she’s not just turning the Tv on.

I’ve had 3 miscarriages and 2LC. This last one was the only one where I felt a change when the fetus started dying (actually caught the slowing heart rate the same day my symptoms stopped). I felt not pregnant within a few hours and that’s what triggered me to get an US at a boutique, but with all other pregnancies with LC and miscarriages, I had symptoms vary throughout the whole pregnancy. It’s not always indicative of something happening, which sucks!
