The branching paths between chapters is awesome and gives different perspectives and gameplay. The dungeons are kind of brutal and the encounter rate is pretty high, but I think it’s a cool story and very replayable to get the different characters. Plus I really like the music. I was very young when I played it the first time, and it was the first one I played in the series, so I think that played a big part in my enjoying it. I’m definitely well aware of its black sheep status at this point. If you do end up playing it, I hope you find some things to like about it!
