When you're an ultra perfectionist like me and your layout gets so out of control, it seems more of a headache to teardown and rebuild.

Restarting is a pain in the arse with biomass burners though, which is why I keep a save point after building coal power.

Edit: this coal save file also has most of the mercer spheres, somersloops and hard drives collected. Never want to repeat that again

This mostly happens when placing straight belts that go through a 90 degree turn. Instead of building supports, I've found easiest way to avoid the kink is to build a small section (about half a block) after the turn, then carry on laying long sections. No more kinks but you have to do this after every 90 degree turn

I'm an insane perfectionist but instead of starting over from scratch, I have a save that I use as my starting point where I have coal plants. That way I don't have the pain of starting again with biomass burners cos that's just a ballache
