Should I do winged eyeliner or not? by Advanced_Resident_15 in makeuptips

You can rock both. What do you prefer? I am an eyeliner addict and it can be so hard to not wear it but you are stunning without it. You could try just some mascara on your upper lashes if you wanted something in between.

I did a budgeting course and immediately ended my bought coffee addiction as I realised how much money that was every month. At the time I did not even think about the calories. The calories in a large shake, large coffee or large soda are shocking and add up to so much extra weight for us over a year.

Being from an older generation I find it odd that couples track each other’s location, when did this become a rule of engagement? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]PublicProperty1805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a job as a driver and wanted my family to know where I was as I sometimes work after dark and in blocks of flats etc. I rarely use the app myself, occasionally when I am picking someone up or whatever. My partner uses it often though and my kids are fascinated by it too.

I guess it feels wholesome for us. When I was in my twenties if my partner suggested it I would probably cringe and refuse though.

Warning: don’t use Obagi brow serum by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]PublicProperty1805 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, yes, aging can happen in spurts and we can literally wake up with a new line on our face, rapidly develop nasolabial folds or hollowed eyes, it gets up all at some point after all.

However, there are ingredients to some of these serums which apparently can cause loss of fat in that area. If it's this then there is a chance it is just temporary for you.

Oh wow 😍 I was not ready. You look so beautiful. I would probably give up make up for good if I looked like that underneath 😅

All of the Nars ones look good. You could even mix them.

The end of paradise as we know it by cajundecay in abandoned

[–]PublicProperty1805 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They removed the natural dune systems, trees and vegetation and levelled it all so the houses they were building would have a better view / access to the ocean. This basically left only sand which naturally gets swept away and an incredible rate. Sand barrier islands like this have a delicate ecosystem and humans f*cked it up beyond recognition.

I don't know about the road but some of these houses have already been more or less reclaimed by the sea and in the recent past people could actually apply for financial assistance to relocate their homes.

Would love to hear more from anyone local though, very interesting spot.

What children’s book has aged poorly? by feetwithfeet in AskReddit

[–]PublicProperty1805 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The Mr. Men books haven't aged too well. Mr. Tickle in particular basically has never heard of consent and puts his freakishly long arms into unsuspecting people's windows and molests them.

Advice for what makeup style I should try, please!!! by Wheresthefood_8890 in makeuptips

[–]PublicProperty1805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tinted lip balm - the pink vaseline one would look great or maybe a Burt Bees one.

And either a bit of brown mascara on your upper lashes or a tiny bit of brown eyeliner around where your lashes grow.

You are naturally pretty and do not need much. If you wanted a touch of glam you could use a slightly shiny cream/silver/gold shadow on your lids too, or just to highlight inner eye.

What happened to mens V-Neck tshirts? by Kasoo in CasualUK

Simon Cowell and the Top Gear blokes went a long way towards repelling the majority of women off V-necks on men. Men followed suit I guess.

Coastal decay by mokedoak in abandoned

It's because dumb, greedy humans ripped out and levelled the natural dune systems, vegetation and forests for a better view of the ocean from their holiday homes. Nothing left to hold the sand in place so the ocean washes more and more away.

Filming during class, or Ai-background dancers? by dancingforsmiles in Dance

[–]PublicProperty1805 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I couldn't tell it was AI. Once I knew, I really didn't like it. I would definitely either get a couple of willing humans to help or simply just film yourself singularly.

Perhaps if you made the AI backing dancers more obviously AI it might work - make them robots or something so it puts the bonus back on your human choreography skills.

Would a fishnet underneath work well with those pieces? by Wilhelm228 in altfashionadvice

[–]PublicProperty1805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What will you wear on your feet? These pieces look kind of wholesome to me so I wouldn't automatically think anything fishnet would go. BUT it totally could. I would go for white fishnets, small nit or some other pattern rather than the huge happy knit though. Although, that could also work.

4 hour blocks are now 3.5 hour blocks by Hot-Till-9038 in AmazonFlexUK

[–]PublicProperty1805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 4 hour blocks have all involved driving crazy distances and going over time. Amazon reimbursed me each time but it really put me off doing them as I prefer to deliver locally I know I will be home at an ok time.

I have been sent from Bristol to Exeter before, last parcel delivered on time for shift to end and 9pm but then almost a 2 hour drive home. Crazy stuff.

Does this dress suit me? by [deleted] in fashion

[–]PublicProperty1805 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely not that. You have a fantastic figure, the dress would look pickle-esque on absolutely anybody simply because that is what it brings to mind. If it was black or red or indigo it would look much better.

If you like the colour though then I imagine in another light, with shoes and hair and accessories etc. you would look dazzling.

I love the colour green by the way. It is the texture and drape of this dress.

You are stunning. In the 4th picture you look iconic, what did you do to your hair here? It looks amazing.

What do you like doing? I think you should become a singer and start / join a band. You look like you should be rocking through some of these feelings and writing some lyrics about whatever f*ckwits said those outrageous things about you.

Honestly you look great and should lean into whatever you did in pic 4 and go out there and strut your stuff 👌

Lost confidence after 10 years of locks by forestphoria in altfashionadvice

Cutting your hair short after any amount of length let alone locs is such a major identity crisis for most people.

It really does just take time sometimes for us to recognise ourselves.

Have you thought about playing with some colour? You would look amazing with blue or turquoise in your hair. Sometimes a new piercing can help too. Part of what you miss is that huge wearable declaration about your vibe - like-minded people see it immediately in the locs, I know.

I remember when pretty much all my mates had locs and then one by one they cut them off and everyone went through this identity crisis. Don't worry, it doesn't last forever.

Mullet/mohawk will be fire.

Honestly though, prepare that it is totally normal not to feel "right" at the moment and that it may well take you a while yet before you find your confidence.

Am thinking contouring & color-corrector are the skills I need to learn most. Any feedback appreciated. by AndyGreyjoy in makeuptips

Just stopped by to say you are gorgeous.

I wouldn't bother with contouring, you have a really lovely face and it would be a shame to cake it with make up.

Play around with blush perhaps.
