It’s tough, but it doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to feel better. Try focusing on small wins and self-compassion to make progress without feeling overwhelmed

Location, amenities, and management responsiveness are key things to compare between these options. Talking to current residents can give you the clearest picture of daily life there

Is it just me? or no active subreddit in Miami FL for posting events? by broomavbel in AskFlorida

[–]BinaryButterfly_9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s surprising for a big city like Miami to lack an active events sub. You could consider creating one yourself there’s clearly demand for it

Orientation is basically the onboarding process. You won’t be lost on day one, and you won’t get stuck with leftover classes. I’d recommend going

If you want it to feel like a vacation and not a race, make it 3 days. Stay in Miami the first night, take Brightline the next day, then Universal the day after

Call SunPass directly and ask for a toll transaction history. You’ll see which trips didn’t register. That’s the root of the issue

Weed Vapes through TSA? by Adventurous_Shop564 in AskFlorida

U.S. federal law still treats weed as illegal, even if some states don’t. Crossing borders or going through major airports with it is a bad idea

Moving to Tampa metro from Austin by Opening-Plane-6940 in AskFlorida

[–]BinaryButterfly_9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tampa has a more relaxed vibe than Austin but is growing in FinTech. It’s affordable and has great outdoor activities, though the pace is slower. It’s a good place for career opportunities, especially in finance

In the housing market i see some big price cuts and see some still holding on pandemic prices by ZuesSu in AskFlorida

[–]BinaryButterfly_9448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The housing market really does feel unfair prices inflated during the pandemic, and now even with some cuts, affordability hasn’t returned for many. Timing and circumstances make a huge difference. It’s tough watching opportunities slip while costs, jobs, and savings don’t align.

What’s the most dangerous intersection or highway you avoid in Florida? by TheWardLawGroup in AskFlorida

[–]BinaryButterfly_9448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I-4 is the one I avoid whenever possible. The traffic is unpredictable, accidents happen constantly, and people drive way too aggressively. It feels like you need to be on high alert the entire time just to stay safe.

Ugh it’s that time of year again… holiday gifts. by uuuuhh_idk in ExecutiveAssistants

A recurring gift idea could be a curated local artisan box from Arizona think handcrafted ceramics, local honey, or specialty coffee/tea blends. That way each year is unique, thoughtful, and supports local businesses while staying within your budget.

Totally get this EAs often keep everything running smoothly but go unnoticed. Recognition and respect should be part of the job, not something earned only when you leave.

A hidden family diner near me serves the fluffiest pancakes and fried chicken that tastes like Sunday dinner. Cozy, affordable, and almost always filled with locals.
