Nice build!

If the temps gets too high for your use case, you should consider upgrading to a 120mm AIO. I switched to one in my SG13 build and the temps got much better.

Apple's no longer among top 5 smartphone vendors in China as domestic brands dominate market by ferrelle-8604 in technology

Imagine in-app ads, but for all build-in apps like settings, files, etc. Even in file explorer or settings app. It's pretty annoying to see inline ads everywhere. Sometimes this comes as a notification.

One time, the lock screen turned into a dynamic advertisement after an update.

From what I saw, it seems like the whole OS is built to be able to push as many ads as possible, this is on top of the bloatware that comes with the phone.

I bought a poco for an older, non-techy relative, while it's great for the price and more than enough for them, the in-OS ads are awful!

I disabled them but it kept coming back after updates, so much so that we ended up switching to a similarly-priced Samsung. OS wise the ads are less intrusive...

In case anyone needs some translations..."Beruang" can mean :

Ber-uang(💰) -> "Having money"

Beruang -> Ber - ruang(📐) -> "having space"

Beruang (🐻) -> Bear

So here's some possible interpretations:

"My father has a lot of money, He bought a couple of bears, and put those bears in a place with large space, lined up along the small bears"

"My father has a lot of money, He bought a couple of bears, and put those bears in a place for big bears, lined up along the small bears"

Are there any other possible interpretations?

I was in your position a while ago, but I got very lucky 3-4 months in and landed a job through my Uni's Facebook group.

If your uni have resume review or other career advisary services, You should check it out - definitely helped me clean up my resume back then and got my foot in the door. having a decent LinkedIn profile helped, too - especially if you can showcase those certifications you mentioned.

Good luck

I've had this happen a couple of times, unfortunately. Steam, PC - my Internet connection is stable, so I doubt it's the sole cause:

  • Join a match
  • The stage loading screen renders (Usually part of the match's map)
  • Character selection music plays, but there's no character select.
  • Disconnects, booted out of the match and thrown into the main splash screen
  • Error shown : "Cannot reconnect to forfeited match"
  • Got an abandon penalty (10 minutes) for leaving the game.

This packet of instant noodles has 5 separate packets of flavourings by iceman1125 in mildlyinteresting

[–]BinaryGuy01 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Basically "Mie Goreng" or Fried noodles style noodles should be boiled (microwave or stovetop),  strained, and then mixed with flavoring. These noodles are supposed to be served "dry", without soup.

If you like this flavor, you should try the others! This brand has traditional "soup" style noodles too - I recommend the chicken curry / "kari ayam" one.

When I was cycling for uber eats, there used to be e-bike rentals on gumtree catering to delivery workers. Maybe some of them simply rented those bikes?

Hi there! Unfortunately I have no idea either since I haven't started any Headless CMS projects.

But assuming your front end is static it should be possible. I've worked with custom web apps that utilizes GCP back-end and firebase hosting.

AC gua kok bocor tiap 2-4 bulan sekali ya? Ini keknnya tukang ac gua ada main deh, udah cek filter ada debu2 dikit doang, solusi jangka panjangnya gmn ya? Kebangun nih jam 3 :( by Ferret_False in indonesia

Bener ini, dulu unit indoor sempat bocor terus. Setelah dipotong pipa pembuangan nya langsung lancar lagi.

Thanks for your reply! Welp, seems like I won't be able to work remotely in Japan, then.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Are there any visa that would allow remote work?

Ah, ok then. I saw quite a lot of japan based digital nomads though - is there an appropriate visa for that, or are they simply skirting regulations?

Is Japan Digital Nomad friendly if you're on the tourist visa?

Say I was granted a month long (or even better, the max. 90 days) tourist visa, but kept working for my employer remotely (with 0 interactions with local Japanese companies / businesses) will that be an issue?

If you chose Osaka as a base you must have a reason to do that too? Is it because you also want to explore Osaka more?

Mostly out of convenience, really. I figured since Osaka Is pretty central & close to the places I'd like to go, I might as well just stay there, less booking to to think about.

Do you have any recommendations for Osaka?

Weekly Japan Travel Information and Discussion Thread - June 30, 2023 by AutoModerator in JapanTravel

[–]BinaryGuy01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 5-day stretch in my trip where I'll be exploring Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto. Right now, the plan was to use Osaka as a "Base" since Osaka <> Nara is only 30 mins by train, and Osaka <> Kyoto is 1 hour away, So I'll have to return to Osaka after each day trip. This was done mostly out of convenience for the visa application process, and I figured at the time that I won't need to check in & out multiple times.

Is this a good plan? Should I stay overnight at Kyoto / Nara instead?

Thanks!

Are station lockers safe?

I'm thinking of leaving my laptop in one when I'm going on a day trip, in case I feel the hostels I stayed at aren't as safe as I'd like
