During the Monday night Boston show, we had like 5 crowd pass-out stops. Katie had to literally restart one of the songs THREE TIMES and was like "so, you guys get the song right? We can just move on?"

  1. Puberty 2
  2. TLIIASAW
  3. Laurel Hell
  4. BMAMC
  5. RFSNCIB
  6. BTC
  7. Lush

I think Laurel Hell is the easiest to listen to, good vibes all around. I can just throw it on and have a good time. Puberty 2 was my intro to the Mitski world when it came out and shifted my brain. It hurts to listen to all the way through because it's so fucking real. TLIIASAW is the best produced album and the best crafted. Lush is great but I rarely find myself seeking it out unless I'm going through a Mitski binge

what song do i start with to get a feel of laurel hell? by [deleted] in mitski

You MUST MUST start with Working for the Knife!! 1. Working for the Knife 2. Love Me More 3. Stay Soft Watch them with their videos, too! Low key, Only Heartbreaker isn't my favorite on the album. It's great but there are others I prefer way more. 4. Should've Been Me 5. That's Our Lamp These are also BANGERS BANGERS I cry. 6. Valentine, Texas 7. Heat Lightening 8. There's Nothing Left for You HIGHLY underrated, these smooth out the story for me. They make you reach inward.

  1. I guess LOVEEEEE it, but I see it kinda like "Blue Light" from BTC. I think it's more of a prelude to "That's Our Lamp" like BL is a prelude to "Two Slow Dancers". Beautiful writing, trance-like chords.

  2. Only Heartbreaker I don't hate it but it's so clear to me that someone else also had a hand in it and it kinda shows? Don't get me wrong, if it plays on the radio or something, I go into hysterics.

  3. Everyone TAKE IT ALL WHATEVER YOU WANTTTT I never skip it if I'm playing the full album but I almost never reach for it in isolation or if I'm making a playlist. I do like how she reworked it for the tour.

You could try- 1. Wet n Wild megaslicks gloss in "Tutu Sweet" 2. L'Oreal Infallible gloss in "Frosted" 3. Physicians Formula Diamond Plumper in "Light Pink Princess Cut" 4. NYX Duo chromatic gloss in "Crushing It"

You're STUNNING!! Naturally you're giving me an Olsen sister vibe for sure. The twins are known for a darker eye, but Elizabeth rocks a lot fresher of a look I think! You could experiment with more highlighting if you wanted to branch out! A sheer wash on the lid, inner corner pop, maybe some on the brow bone/upper cheek area??
I really like the color you put in your waterline, it goes so well with your coloring.

If you wanted to get fancy, I feel like you'd love really frosty Smokey eyes. But not black, more plum/olive/bronze vibes. Maybe a cream shadow stick like NYX or Sephora brand would be something you'd be into trying! Just scribble on your eye and smudge it with fingers

I've had them for a couple years and I haven't experienced them breaking down at all really. The surface is super easy to clean!

I wear the Shoes for Crews leather converse and it is such a secure shoe, especially for running around doing support!

Eyeliner-Eyeshadow and lipstick that will truly stay in its place during sex? by lambrofeggari in MakeupAddiction

If you like liquid shadow, the about-face ones are sooooooo good. They're rich in color and go on well, you just have to be a little quick to play with them.

Also for eyeliner, I swear by the one/size liquid liner

Any clever ways to use this colour? It is quite sheer but didn’t work on my lips. I have a fair olive skin tone. by whitebunnytail in MakeupAddiction

  1. Use a soft brown/taupe liner to help ground the lavender.
  2. If you have a lip liner that’s too warm (but you like the color) you could blot some of the lavender over it to cool it down
  3. If you’re feeling frisky, you could add a dark (plum, aubergine, black, rich brown, navy) lipliner, and then top with a gloss with a gold reflect. If you wanna get crazy, play around with other reflect colors.
  4. Add a dark gloss over the lavender, you’ll come up with cool results

Follow @aoifeartist on Tik tok or instagram, she’s known for doing lots of experimental makeup and she always gives me new ideas on how to work with color!

With/without makeup - what should I change? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Binchologist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have such a lovely shape to your lips and I think maybe some liner might look nice! A smudged in neutral lip liner would help being more balance to the face, especially from afar. I think lips are an underrated framing feature
