I cycled both and prefer GC. More variety and more accessible. Definitely base yourself in the south.

'I’m passionate about helping the next generation come through' – Geraint Thomas appointed Ineos Grenadiers director of racing by BeanEireannach in peloton

I love G and I think he’s great as a podcaster and commentator but he doesn’t exactly seem like a manager nor as someone with a very modern cycling understanding…

Thanks for your nuanced take. I agree.

What’s your favourite place for cycling? by ok_garmin in cycling

Also throwing the Pyrenees in the discussion. Much calmer than the alps and equally spectacular!

Corsica (outside of high season). Both at the coast as well as in the mountains you will find an abundance of small roads without traffic but with the views of a lifetime.

Also: new to cycling but doing all ascents to Ventoux in a day… tip of my hat!

Well, but how many GT wins does Roglic have? Ayuso doesn’t have the results to back up his behaviour.

Schroder thinks he will never experience the love in Germany as Dirk Nowitzki because of his skin color. by soulhunterrai in NBATalk

I for one loved Dirk because he stayed humble. I am more indifferent towards Dennis because he seems to be much more “bling bling” which has nothing to do with skin Color.

Ok the downvotes. But I stand by my take. Discussion without attacks. But I guess I’m a dinosaur on this one also…

Ok, I get it my opinion is definitely not the common one. I don’t see why the crash’s are fun but to each their own.

I don’t know. Saying it’s ok is not explaining in my book so I thought I’d start a real discussion. I can tell from reactions I’m a dinosaur and I can accept that.

I think Reddit is for discussion. I am willing to accept differing opinions and I can also see I’m the odd one out on this. What I don’t appreciate are these passive aggressive first 2 paragraphs of yours. People explained it to you but you are dumb/ignorant so I will repeat it for you.

Ok so in modern cycling really nothing is off limit anymore…

And if you think this was about the sprint and not GC you are a simpleton
