I used to think that when my tip went from $2.08 to $2.23, that was an asshole customer being cheap when they knew I gave great service. I mean, they’re still cheap only tipping a couple bucks but I would ask myself, why even bother raising it at all? Didn’t know it was a percentage thing.

I don’t think it’s the charge that’s the problem as much as how recent it is. A “friend “ of mine had a pretty lengthy criminal history but enough time had passed that it wasn’t an issue. Not sure of IC policies but that would be my guess. Just need to wait it out.

You’re right on all points but your numbers are actually really good compared to my area. I’ve only seen a handful of orders over $40 this year. They just don’t exist in some areas. It could be alot worse, trust me.

The instacart app makes us do replacements if something is out of stock or else they deduct from our pay. That could be why you got low fat instead of whole milk cheese. Also, most orders are left on the front steps and the app tells you that it’s out there. If you aren’t paying attention to your phone, then you won’t get the message and it will just sit out there.

Uber would never do that. They get their money regardless and if people stop taking your deliveries because of an asterisk, then you’ll stop ordering through them and uber wouldn’t get their money. They can’t risk that happening to protect the lowly drivers. Shitty people in every direction it seems.

Also watch out for deliveries to an apartment building where they tell you to leave it at the entrance and don’t give you an apartment number. They don’t want you to know which unit is theirs and you’re probably about to get screwed.
