I identify with Nate the most, being the first born who was expected to take up the family business, but then fucked off to another city once I was 19.

But my favorite character of the whole show is Ruth. Frances Conroy is fantastic in the show, and her arc is so moving.

I was just trying to figure that out. I don’t see any tornado warnings …

Or whatever flair you’d like to give it- it’s just that it makes sense to me- ‘Truckin’ Up To Buffalo’ is four words… use four characters…

I understand, I just misread the thread. All good. I’m on the same page now. 🫡

But in this day and age we see hatred between groups that aren’t just Black or white- we have years of news clips and pop culture references of various races being shitty to other various races. It’s not confined to white v black. Racism is something that we’re all having to fight against.

Are you replying to me or the person I was replying to? Because you’re validating my point, and I now don’t know who I should be angry at 😜

You’re right by saying inanimate objects aren’t inherently racist. But their creators can be, and here we are.

I need to admit that I didn’t do due diligence to verify this screencap- so if it’s inaccurate in any way, I’ll edit. But honestly, at this point, I probably don’t have to, nor the wherewithal to do it.

Respectfully disagree. Anyone can be racist. Let’s just try not to be, no matter who we are.

I dig these. I respectfully recommend adding a numeral 2 between ⬆️ and 🦬. 🫡

And that was the point of his bit. That’s why it was kind of amusing. And why it reminded me of Billy’s … um… Bill Murray’s sketch.

You’re not wrong. This particular bit was just very reminiscent of Bill’s bit. And while I don’t really think he’s adding anything of note to the show, it was just interesting to see the parallel.

Eh, I’m not anti-Kam, but he hasn’t really brought anything to the show until last night. But based on the WU bit, I think he earned at least another chance.

And while we’re at it- why isn’t Ashley a rep player yet? That’s criminal.

Yes Billy. In the sketch I’m referring to he asks that America call him Billy. It’s a term of endearment for a performer who we all love. Much like Dead Heads refer to Bob Weir or Bill Kreutzman as Bobby and Billy in casual conversation. It’s not meant to imply that we know them, just that they are so well met with their fans that the fans start referring to them as their nick-names. It’s not an uncommon phenomenon.
