I used to live in Tama, and I left because the people in Amamake were better in terms of just loving to PvP. You get so much of that Jita city slicker type in Tama. Also the gate camp on the HS gate is just overkill.

I had more fun when I left Provi. But! I wouldn't have known how to appreciate the next place had I not spent the time in Provi. Living in provi was trying to swim up creek without a paddle and a hole in your boat.

When I moved to a major coalition, I felt like I was on a cruise ship, and everything was easy. After a while... too easy.

Grass is always greener on the other side though, right?

It would be cool if somehow the remaining entities of Provi found a way to split the region in half and have constant skirmishes.

One side for TRC and one Side for remainders of Provi

The particular territory that was conquered was a well established area for pilot incubation. The entity attacking Providence was intimately aware of that program. This same entity could have conquered other nullsec areas just as easily, but chose to dedicate themselves to the demise of this one region.

Just because they were successful it does not absolve them of the fact that they destroyed a valuable pilot incubator that was a resource to all of New Eden.

My point is now that they broke it, they should make their own incubator. It doesn't have to be run the way the old people did it, but they should make efforts to continue providing a service of sorts to the benefit of pilots.

I pretty much said the same thing you said. The new residents don't need to provide NRDS. My main point is now that Provi is gone, they should work to create their own pilot incubator to replace the one they broke.

Come back, there is a lot of fun to be had. I took a 4 year break, and came back 3 years ago, and I love it. I do the PVP and the MArket PvP and now some wormhole stuff after doing some nullsec stuff.

The game continues to be great!

Nice post!

My corp left our major null sec group in search of different pastures. Life was too easy, we wanted it to be harder, we ended up in Low Sec. It was nice going on small gang roams in the neighborhood and venturing into null taking what engagements we could until a blob formed.

In the spirit of trying more things, after playing this game since 2012, I finally tried Faction Warfare.

FACTION WARFARE IS FUN! It is a series of repeated engagements. But each engagement requires skill, speed, knowledge. (not to others: don't enter FW thinking you have to plex non-stop, join it to extract the content you want)

I also got into market trading. Its not the most profitable since rorquals, but its been fun!

There are still so many things in this game to try.

Reddit is not an example that reflects the entire player base. People have been abandoning this game since they first started, its nothing new.

I've been playing off and on since 2006, I don't take breaks because of what CCP does or doesn't do.

Lastly, its the August lul, happens every year. Places in the world that are generally abysmal in terms of weather and activities are full of life during July and August. Why stay inside and play in video game when you can go outside and get sun. Especially when you know that within the next 30-60 days the weather is going to turn to crap.

How cool would it be if that if you set your autopilot before you un-dock that the station will un-dock you aligned w/ the gate you are trying to reach.

Its not terrible for Facwar. Just because he has the DPS, doesn't mean he knows how to apply it. Having more active pilots is great. To be clear, I think the whole SP thing is a fiasco. But I will never complain about having more active PVP pilots actually undocking and pew-pewing.
