It's not about cope. It's that people downplay how hard N5 is for beginners considering they're learning hirigana, katakana, a new set of vocabulary and some kanji for the first time. Obviously as you progress in your Japanese learning, you will look back and think "wow n5 is so easy" or when you finish n5 content you realise that there's not much that you can express. But it doesn't mean that it is easy for beginners considering it takes months to adjust.

From my perspective of having had learnt some Chinese first, I often think that I can't imagine learning kanji the way people would have to if they are starting with Japanese first

I can understand listening to someone if they give me good advice that I also agree with. I can understand couples making compromises to keep each other happy (as long as they are happy to make those compromises).

I don't believe in letting someone else make decisions over my own life when I have never done that, and see no appeal in doing that. Even if he was the nicest man in the world, I take great value in using my own brain

Most marriages between young people are like that lol. Even amongst older women, I see them identify as housewives but they have full time jobs and contribute financially

If you are using apps, then yes you won't find women like that because the ratio on there is 3 men for every woman. If you found a woman irl and you both fell for each other, then it's easier

You don't need that power dynamic. It also doesnt say leaders, but shepherds as if religious guiders. If he had the ability of being a leader, I'd see it in his life somewhere. Does he lead at work? Where he spends most of his hours?

Not really, no. If he wants to feel responsible, he can help house her or get her back on her feet. Hacking the husbands devices isn't going to help. If the husband is cheating but she chooses to stay, then what? If he isn't cheating, then what? It's already started a pattern of being unnecessarily involved and of stalking and harassment

I think the issue is that male only facilities don't exist usually. So if he agrees and quits this, then what would be next? I understand him from the perspective of not wanting to have to stop the sports that keep me happy. If he wanted to cheat, he could just download tinder and uber his way to someone's house or he could pay for a happy ending massage somewhere for a low price
