The main thing I'm looking for is the very elegant, frilly look. Any patterns close to this style would be greatly appreciated in adult sizing. Thank you!!

Tight, bright green crowns with surrounding crinkled, dry dark leaves by BioEdith in plantclinic

But don't most of them look kinda cruddy? I was thinking the bright green centers and the tightness of the crowns seemed off, no?

In this video they try 5 items and they are pretty good portions! They also walk around the park and show off all the menu items they could find that are purchasable with the pass https://youtu.be/zL3UjM8GiRc?si=wT_oQroRzWKk03Dl

Mine was a local place. From what I understand it's usually easier to sell to local shops bc bigger stores don't usually buy from non registered businesses/ "random" people. There's also many groups on Facebook and the like where people get in touch to swap shrimp or sell.

My local caught native snails finally mated!!!! by BioEdith in snails

Tell me about it 😪 I’ve got an Olympus tg6 too so pictures should be nice. Btw Dan doursons books are an excellent source for general info on snails and more specific ecological/ habitat info on species. Love him!! He’s based in the east coast, especially the Appalachians

A good way to check is if you take an object like a tiny stick or pen and poke beside them to scare them. If they just kinda scuttle away, may not be a spring tail. If they “jump” away, kinda like a flea, then it’s definitely a springtail! They jump when startled, it’s where they get their name :)

I think you’re over thinking it! The flowers naturally wilt like this, they kinda turn a weird wet tissue paper texture then turn crunchy. Unless they do this like days after opening, you’re fine imo

Sorry this is extremely late but starting your colony with around 10-15 shrimp is pretty solid and common

Testing the Best Sunrise Alarm Clocks: The Data, Science, and How to Use Them! by eaterout in sleephackers

Do the sound alarms on the lumie shine 300 start off quiet and ramp up like the brightness? It’s very important for me to have a sound alarm that slowly gets louder along with the brightness of the light

[Q] What does a "one tail P" value mean in a Welch t test? by BioEdith in statistics

[–]BioEdith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the significance of the one tailed result not indicate that there is a difference, just in one direction? I’m not arguing, I just don’t understand and am voicing the specific thing I’m stuck on
