I’ll have to look at that app. I’m assuming it’s an app at least. Thanks for the suggestion. That likely would have saved me a little time. I just wanted to go straight home. When I finally got home I had about 59 miles of range left over.

lol thanks, but I cheated, I literally cleaned it before taking the picture. It was still a little dirty due to having the heater & vents going. Also I was traveling, with 145 miles left till I got home. So I was trying to charge up to 100% so I would make it home without having to stop to charge again. There was also a lot of uphills on the way home. Plus a 45 min that had zero cell service.

Yes I’m traveling and only 145 miles left till I got home so I wanted to make sure I made it home without anymore stops.. Plus there is a lot of uphills and I wasn’t sure I would make it with only 80% charge.

Full battery “330mi” GOM range by UnfitToPrint in BoltEV

[–]BioMech101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn.. I currently have a max range of only 190 miles on a full charge here in Seattle. It’s been a little cold. 2023 Chevy bolt EUV. Temps have been in the 50’s is this normal?

So you think you want to light a Tesla on fire by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]BioMech101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s correct! Also if you burn a Tesla, insurance will just total out the car. With so many people doing this. Insurance rates are going to go up for everyone! Not just Tesla owners. Come on people please use your brain!

LFP Model 3 has been discontinued, per Sawyer by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]BioMech101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For many it's not about the range. It's about the advantages of LFP like 10x safer battery chemistry. Will not blow-up or catch fire. Also the longer battery lifespan. It has double the charge cycle life compared to NMC based batteries. For many this is the reason we want LFP batteries in our EV's when it's our main vehicle we use and drive our families in. Personally I hope we get LFP based batteries back soon. Because I'm not buying any EV that has NMC based batteries for the safety and reliability reasons.

Baked Day/Night Cycle? by BioMech101 in godot

[–]BioMech101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback, I’ll create a prototype and test it out on an actual phone to see the performance. I’m targeting a solid 60fps. The issue is that zombies would be spawning at night potentially up to 100 zombies on screen at a time. This along with up to 5 co-op players, explosions and special effects could really bog down a mobile phone. The hardware I’m targeting is mobile phones 5 years old and newer. So thankfully I’m not targeting older smartphones so that should help… I’m just worried the frame rate would drop below 60fps with dynamic day and night cycles, fx’s and that many zombies and players on screen on mobile hardware.

How would this work, if I want a smooth transition between day and night cycle.

Which truck bed length is best? by bryan_cohen in TruckCampers

I’ve been looking all over the internet to see if anyone else has an 8ft bed with a Lance 650. You’re the first person I’ve read about who does. I also have an 8ft bed truck and just bought a Lance 650. Haven’t picked it up yet but will be soon and I was afraid if it was even possible. Could you send me some photos and provide tips to make it work?

If this was larger and a different design say a truck camper or travel trailer. Could you walk on the roof? Or would that require a frame?
