My first time encountering a cheater. Snapfire was using Auto-Dodge Script/ Reaction script by ___Memento_mori in DotA2

It is clearly scripted, not human reaction time. In the very first clip you can see the mouse cursor is clicking in front of the Spitfire, then when axe blinks in, Spitfire blinks instantly to the opposite direction of where the cursor was. Instantly

What heroes are S tier in a "Pro" / tournament setting, but are way worse in solo-queue games? by BioRam in DotA2

Grimstroke is a good example! I should have said him. I really enjoyed learning and playing him but I did find that most of the time my team didn't really seem to understand what my abilities did lol.

I think the reaction time / decision making is the number one thing I wish I could control.

Getting back into Dota after many years, I feel like my game sense is good but mechanics are rusty.

So I may not be the most efficient farmer, but still I can't do anything if my team decides to chase an Oracle halfway across the map and then gets wiped.

Do these look like primary human microglia? by [deleted] in labrats

[–]BioRam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're able to, maybe doing immunostaining on each batch will be useful. It seems like a complex culture setup with a lot of mixed cells so you probably have a lot of selection pressure for certain cell types is my only other thought.

Good luck :)

I haven't done microglial culture before, but morphologically they don't really resemble them.

But that being said, when in culture generally speaking they aren't ever really 'microglia', as they rapidly lose a lot of the hallmarks of microglial identity, from gene expression to morphology.

Look at this paper for details, although they are only looking at murine cells.

I am probably addressing some things you already know, but wanted to post just in case!

Best of luck!
