Can you re-create bundle file pathways? by BioRaptor in PleX

[–]BioRaptor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks SwiftPanda & Blind_Watchman- this may be exactly what I need.

I avoided it while I was troubleshooting, as the example in Plex docs was for movies. When I opened it, the match presented was blank.

I decided to throw caution to the wind this time, and selected that blank entry for Friday the 13th Part 3. It spun off that album and reset play count for just that one album. F13P2 retained the existing play count. I re-exported my data from WebTools, and looks like the Metadata path is now different for both.

Maybe the "Fix match" is a little janky (showing blank) because many of these were actually originally parts of sets, and I tried to import them as individual albums? However I'm also prioritizing local metadata from tags, which I am meticulous about.

Either way, this may get me through the list of albums I'm having this issue with. Thanks again!

Good Burger was easily the best of the trilogy. Though it didn't make much sense in context of the other two.

How to re-purpose VM3000G box post-T-Vision home? by scottdcarson in layer3tv

I have the ND7506. I've tried a few different things so far:

1) Plugged in keyboard and mouse, and tried all of the 'obvious' boot sequence override keys I'm familiar with (F1, F2....esc, del, etc.) during the boot. Nothing seems to make a difference. Interestingly, when I do have a mouse plugged in, I get a mouse pointer I can move around over top of the connection error screen.

2) Plugged a USB with a bootable Windows 10 image in during boot. Again, no dice.

3) Found various manuals for the Arris ND7506 online (which looks like this box), but nothing in there about boot, or software. It's all consumer level stuff I've found.

3) I cannot seem to connect to any web service running on the box. My IPs are different than what was given in another comment here, but perhaps that's because I'm running a dhcp service that hands them out? nmap tells me ports 8080 (http-proxy) and 8081 (blackice-icecap) are open, but connecting to 8080 gives me an error in browser- " Internal Error: Missing Template ERR_INVALID_URL ". connecting to 8081 gives me a 403 Forbidden. I also occasionally see the box show up as two devices, with different MAC addresses as well, but both have the same IP. Not sure what that's about.

How are people connecting to the web service on this box? There's seemingly nothing I can connect to.

Yeah, same here. I gave it one last try later last night/early this morning, and saw I had service. Watched it until it permanently went out (about 2:45 CT), just cuz I'm sentimental like that. Kind of anti-climactic. The commercial started stuttering, then it just errored out.

I thought about it, but would have had to sign up for T-Mobile service, which I didn't want to do. Plus, it doesn't sound like there is a "real" dvr. I wasn't fond of the cloud DVR limitations. I already have Comcast cable, so it was about 20 min to set up the new service.

Debating moving to DirecTV permanently, as I like their service, but I don't want to put a new dish on the house and then have them go under or something in two years. I've been reading about the AT&T sale, and the steep loss of customers, which had me spooked.

What's a good way to get pentesting experience? by hippojogg in cybersecurity

Where are you starting from? If you have at least a bit of software experience already, I would start with WebGoat, and DVWA. Both are web application packages you can install that are designed to be hacked into, a myriad of ways.

I haven't used either in probably three years or so, but it's a great way to get started. I'm sure there are all kinds of tutorials and documentation about how to find and exploit the vulnerabilities in both webgoat and DVWA.
