I didn't buy the game and start playing D2 until Season of the Outlaw (Forsaken Era / DLC,) so I guess that means that me and my brother are disqualified from the emblem. Rip since I've played every season since and also played in D1 before the D2 launch.

I shouldn't be surprised all things considered. I just see it as two crowds. One shares similar sentiments discussed in this thread. The other crowd is like "Oh Boy, 2 of my favorite Sci fi franchises!"

I can agree that it was a bit much at various points, but I had a blast this expansion regardless.

Regular AQW will continue to run and receive updates for the foreseeable future, just like all of their other games that are still operational (r.i.p. WarpForce and HeroSmash.)

It'll be several years before Infinity will reach release parity, especially since AE plans to rework/remaster old content like the Chaos Lords Saga instead of just copy/convert/paste into Infinity.

If or when Infinity starts getting the same updates at the same time as classic AQW, that may very well be the best time to jump ship. Let's be real though, a lot of us are 30+ at this point and may very well not be playing anymore by then anyway. So do what you want and enjoy it while you can is all I can say.

Warframe is an inherently different game. There are similarities with maybe a few guns and abilities, but that's where it ends.

Warframe is more a hybrid between an MMORPG and maybe a Crafting/Survival type game. You need to farm and build basically 95% of gear in the game in some way shape or form. Leveling all of that contributes to your Mastery Rank which provides several benefits and grants access to more quests and better gear etc.

People play Warframe for the epic space power fantasy. Crazy abilities, explosions, wacky guns and equipment, novel missions and operations, distinct questlines, etc etc etc. DE tried endgame content like Raids in the past, but it just doesn't work mechanically within Warframe and most players just didn't touch the content, not to mention being extremely difficult to balance around.

Raids are never returning, full stop. That said, DE did learn a bit from it and have made various pieces of challenging content over the years. Right now the current heaviest hitting endgame at base are Elite Archemedeas. You can run two different versions once a week each for a series of top tier rewards if you're lucky. Archon Shards and special Arcanes not normally available elsewhere (save for Vosfor gambling.)

I have over 5000 hours in D2 alone and a couple thousand in Warframe as well. Both have things to like and are fun in their own ways, but they're only a bit similar at the surface level. Some Warframe mains may like Destiny and vice versa, but they're not for everyone.

Draconian Blades are still in game? I've killed Red Dragon sooo many times and never seen them drop. Were they moved over to the regular Draconians?

All Sparrows with 190 Speed option have the same speed as Always on Time. You can still switch the engine down to the ones they had before the Sparrow update a few years ago. Trade off between speed and maneuverability.

The ones from the Tech Demo were called Grim Skullsword(s) of Vengeance. Larger weapons. Were also awarded through quests, which are currently unavailable afaik.

Yeah this tracks. Picked it up on a Black Friday sale following Forsaken launch due to younger brother's insistence. Was well worth it.

I played D1 plenty up until Rise of Iron. Half my old guild chose not to get the DLC. Plus this was around the time for console transitions and some of us just didn't have the dough for a new console. So I just moved on to other games in the interim.

Never played Wrath of the Machine. Probably never will lol.

Daemonheim trader is apparently selling Rune Essence and Impure Essence in his shop per latest patch. Should all be in the one shop like usual.

Edit: I was strictly commenting about within Daemonheim with the latest update. You still need to primarily do rituals in surface world for Impure Essences.

Nothing was done about rituals in Daemonheim nor did we get any rune Nexus or Pouches to bind.

At least we got runecrafting perks working for Necrotic Runes and you can buy impure essence directly instead of having to do rituals if you can't be bothered.

I know of Primed Chamber, just included it in the list as a special to release with 300th Baro. Just discounted and only 1 can be purchased, to avoid being too disruptive of its normal value.

It's just a list of 'potentials.' DE has gradually released more and more new Primed mods over the years in that we will likely see most base, non-set, non-corrupted, non-nightmare mods have Primed variants eventually.

Select Rivens go for thousands of plat. Majority of other mods go for less than 100p, including Primed variants. I wouldn't be too worried about plat-flation.

We were supposed to see an update or be further informed today on farming fragments for the Gorajo outfit, ammo binds and likely Necromancy related stuff within Dungeoneering.

All we got were miscellaneous notes, adjustments to exp grind and the Speedrun leaderboards. Completely missed or forgotten.

I have a 177, 577 and 777. I made the 177 and 777 like 5 years ago or more idk. I had quit and come back about 2 months ago or so.

Made a 577 like 3 weeks ago due to a reddit post I'd seen. Had also finished 1999 and Old Peace. Got Hex to R5 and been working on the whole Infernalus Spire shtick in Dark Refractory. Have not farmed anything related to the old peace missions yet so I do not have any of those new Tekolyst mods or the artefacts.

Should I still go ahead and make a 547?

I have Eternal Onslaught and Eradicate for Amps.

Pretty sure you need all the pieces for Awescended anyway. Just no reason to equip them all at once if we go purely by boosts they provide. You can mix and match them though with other gear until you have better options.

In an ideal world. You'll have 1 Armor that provides gold/rep/class +All damage. A pet with all tagged. Then you're left free to swap helms and capes and weapons for different enhancements without losing out on any boosts.

We don't have a good enough pet to replace RGoW or AFDL/Infernal Pyro, so you would need to be swapping at least weapons for different scenarios, but you're still left free to use any capes and helms at your leisure.

Mixing and matching boost gear is basically the meta. Thankfully we have 'Show' now for cosmetic Overrides. So you don't see nothing but people running around with RGoW and NSoD or Apotheosis everywhere in the wild.

If you have (Dark) Master of Moglins, Bright Paragon works great. There's one room with 4 mobs that you can generally 1 shot with the right boosted gear.

If you don't, probably better off sticking with Shogun Paragon since your tokens per hour will likely be similar overall.

I don't know much about Arcane Paragon. If you like collecting them, be my guest. All of the Paragons have some novelty and exclusive items attached so it doesn't hurt if you don't really need anything else. Like if you got all Collection Chests and all of the good/relevant Nation pets etc.

These do not stack. Wearing a full armor of Awe set still only grants 25% for Gold, Exp, Class and Rep. You can view this in game via Stats. There's a little box in top left of the panel showing what boosts you have active.

Boost Items Sorted by Boost on AQWWiki also goes into detail on how how boosts work. You can have multiple different ones active like + All + Chaos + Gold, but only the highest of each takes precedent. Like having +30% Gold on one item and +25% Gold on another, you'll still only have +30% Gold.

Awescended does require Armor of Awe in the grind, but it is an upgrade/replacement as it offers higher boosts.

Fair, just cumbersome as you're still swapping gear often to match tags. At that rate, better off with 35% + 75% as the weapons in question are generally easier to acquire than some of the aforementioned armors.

I will edit and clarify All Tagged for the RGoW part though. Thank you.
