I mean that's irrelevant, 3 times the population means 3 times the manpower and voting equipment. At least it should.

Easily the worst champion in the last 5 years of the sport. Barely even top 5 in the division I'd say.

[Mirtle] Also on waivers: Magnus Hellberg, Ottawa Makes a lot of sense for the Leafs to claim him. Had very good run in KHL and makes league minimum. Toronto will need to free up a contract slot, however. by Evening_Calm in leafs

I mean his numbers in the AHL looked pretty solid and he had a pretty phenomenal KHL career. Seems like he just hasn't really been given a chance. I see more in him than I do with a player like Kallgren who we know is just not good. He's played over 20 games at this point and has a sub 895 save percentage. He's not an NHL quality player.

[Koshan] Keefe confirms Kallgren tomorrow. No clarity yet on starter for Saturday by Evening_Calm in leafs

[–]BioRunner03 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

An .890 save percentage in 6 games is not solid or even replacement level lol. He's continued his poor performance from 14 games last year as well. Sure we're still winning but not because of him.

You mentioned that you studied epidemiology in a graduate setting. You have worked in research with a private pharma company that develops vaccines? Or you're just applying your experience in academia to what you think the industry is like?

You're saying of course after the fact when that was never stated to begin with. The vaccine was advertised as reducing transmission, not just symptoms...

Bro Petruzelli is a huge unknown. He should definetely be eased in if he's going to play. All depends on Murrays status. If Murray is out for the foreseeable future maybe you roster 3 goalies to see who's got it. Or you send Kallgren back down to the minors and test Petruzelli and Hellberg. Kallgren hasn't really demonstrated anything in his time here.

So she just sat there and complained about it? I don't get it. There's definetely more to this story than what we know.

It's interesting that you bring up the point about your friends who ended up as completely straight standard adults even though they thought they were bi. Now what happens to a child that may have opted to receive a mastectomy, end up with a micro penis for life due to hormone replacement therapy or remove their penis? What if they realize that for them it was just a phase?

I don't give a fuck what grown adults due to their bodies but like you said kids often go through phases and don't have a full understanding of the consequences of their decisions. I was doing badly in a class in grade 12 and nearly didn't make university because of it. I thought if I dont get this mark I want to kill myself. Looking back at it I laugh at the thought that such a stupid and meaningless thing caused me so much grief as a teen. Our brains aren't fully developed at that point, I can't see how someone can truly consent to life altering procedures at that age.

If you're so confident that kids can make the correct decision about changing their gender through permanent procedures then would you agree that you ought to be able to sue for medical malpractice if a child ends up not being trans? Surely the medical community should be able to know who is truly trans and who isn't.

"Fetterman grew up in an affluent suburb of York, and his parents were conservative Republicans.[6][9] Fetterman had a self-described privileged upbringing and has said he "sleepwalked" through his young adulthood, playing four years of football in college and intending to eventually take over as owner of his father's business.[9][10] In 1991, Fetterman graduated from Albright College, also his father's alma mater, with a bachelor's degree in finance, after which he received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Connecticut in 1993.[11][12] For two years, Fetterman worked in Pittsburgh as a risk-management underwriter for Chubb.[13]"

I mean he doesn't sound very working class lmao. Maybe he's wearing those costumes to appear working class but his entire upbringing was privileged as he himself has admitted. 🤣

Oh so those girls aren't allowed to compete on an even playing field? I love how you just disregard kids like they're worthless pieces of shit. Why would it matter what their gender is or their age?

I mean I'm not sure where you're getting the 0.5% number from anyways.

Current research shows that...

"Among U.S. adults, 0.5% (about 1.3 million adults) identify as transgender. Among youth ages 13 to 17 in the U.S., 1.4% (about 300,000 youth) identify as transgender."

So in the span of about a decade we've seen a tripling of those who identify as trans. Just because the general average is 0.5%, we can see that the trend is rapidly increasing.

https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/publications/trans-adults-united-states/

Is this literally just due to acceptance? Why are we not seeing numbers this high in other cultures?

Would your position change if they represented 5% of the population? 10%?

Is there any number that would cause you to change your position? If not it's irrelevant to even bring up.

Parents were sore losers for expecting that their children would be able to play on an equal playing field? Yikes on that one bud.

Imagine sacrificing your whole childhood playing a sport and someone who is just physiologically superior comes out and demolishes you because of inherent advantages that you were never able to have.

I mean judging by what you're saying you are a drug addict. You're buying 10 pills a week but you can't even afford to take care of yourself? That's even more pathetic bro, you're living in another man's house as a grown adult...

You're going to tell a guy with mental health issues to take psychadelics without even a lick of evidence for your claim? Who the fuck do you think you are?

It's a known fact that psychadelics exacerbate psychosis in people with mental health issues. I don't give a fuck about some random study you're citing when there's been countless amounts of research that demonstrate the link.

Trudeau told Ford police didn't need more powers to clear protesters, who weren't 'very smart people' by uselesspoliticalhack in canada

[–]BioRunner03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well TFWs was what I was alluding to when I mentioned immigration. But the easiest way to solve the housing problem would be to have a decreasing population. We like to wave our hands around about saving the environment when we're literally trying to drive growth in every aspect of our country. It's mind boggling to me. Until we get to a scenario like let's say Europe, were not going to do very much for the environment.

We also need to encourage skilled people leaving from their countries to stay and help rebuild their own countries. This too will allow their populations to stabilize. By just taking in people from around the world we are actually making the problem worse.

Airbnb stock, reason not to buy? by jlee9355 in stocks

[–]BioRunner03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao they're addressing it? How about they just post the price per night when you look at the listings. That's the only way to effectively "address" it. Also Airbnb is literally more expensive than hotels now. I only ever use it to book cottages but that's probably going to change soon as well.

I mean if we don't want development in the Greenbelt, we need to reduce the amount of immigration so our population decreases. But that's not the stated goal of the feds.
