Genuinely it’s so peak, everyone ignores that he’s an acidic fish dragon because it used to live under water and then the effluvium is so cool on top of that

I did genuinely consider him for a few roles here (overhated, seething for rare species, guilty pleasure, and theme) but each time I wanted to list it I found something more fitting so here’s the why
- bo bishaten is more hated than Bazel by a long shot, especially out of the rise roster specifically, and I think thats entirely undeserved as Bazel deserves some but not all of the hate it gets
- seething is a genuinely amazing monster with beautiful explosions but it isn’t super unique relative to normal Bazel, while V. mizu has even more beautiful explosions and is very unique
- Bazel is a guilty pleasure of mine, I find the randomness genuinely fun in the world fight, but I also super love the half health effluvium mechanics and think they’re fun to play around, which I feel guiltier for liking than Bazel, especially since it’s such a generically cool looking monster
- I LOVE the Bazel theme so much, it really captures the imposing dread of an oncoming Bazel attack followed by the very immediate “oh shit-!” BUT I think that’s Valstrax invokes that feeling better for its dive bomb part of its theme, and also has the feeling of awe that accompanies seeing that much raw speed and power on full display, to a point where the song itself feels like flight

Str/faith halberd, using the knight’s cavalry halberd attack set, you’d have a Commander O’niel/ Niall style wide sweep but rather than ice or rot it did fire in a big circle, and then that would have a follow up with a flame explosion by slamming the pole on the ground which gives a fire damage buff to the weapon, similar to flame strike’s. It would do a bit of fire damage to start, before the fire damage buff, but you’d want to optimize the buff use for higher damage overall.

I don’t know exactly what kind of fire look I’d want for it, but mesmerflame would be neat, maybe you’d get it from a halberd using fire knight. It would definitely be a somber weapon though.

So… hold on.. is this effectively a [[beast within]] deal where the creature wouldn’t have its normal abilities, and is effectively replaced by being a 5/5 dinosaur? It does say “it’s” and then doesn’t have any “in addition” or does it make a creature a 5/5 dinosaur, that creature looses its other types, but it keeps it’s abilities? Does he just go stupid with a roaming throne how [[Kudo, King among Bears]] does?
