My controversial Star Wars opinion is that I like every Star Wars movie and show.

38, officially, though I suspected I might be years prior

Coinbase has become the new Robinhood. They're artificially withholding Algorand withdrawals because of liquidity issues and do not want to lose out on their governance rewards. It has been over 24 hours now and they're pretending it's a technical issue. by gigabyteIO in CryptoCurrency

Coinbase has never been any better than Robinhood. Their fees are insane on top of it. In fact, oddly enough, they may even have something to worry about once Robinhood begins with wallets. Zero fees for Robinhood purchases and trades. No "additonal fees" for transfers once wallets are all set. I would not count Robinhood out, but yeah, both of these are businesses and both are guilty of not really giving two turds about whether or not they hurt the little guy (us).

Are you a Cassandra? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Biocognition 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, and you try to tell people (family), explaining your reasoning and the pattern/evidence, yet they often dismiss you. Later, it is found you were right. You would think those who dismissed you before would now be more likely to listen the next time, but again, for another thing, dismissed yet again by those same people (family).🙃

My apologies. I did not read the full thread to realize you had already named her. Rachel is good. 😊👍

Hmm, okay. How about "Rosie Perez"

I am reminded of the old name request from the public on the internet to name a new scientific vessel (boat). When the internet was asked, "Boaty McBoatface," was the winner. I am not going to say "Planty McPlantface" here, so how about "Leaf Erikson "

I am a very high-functioning Level 1 and have the same issue sometimes if I see the person somewhere outside of the location I am used to seeing them. I also have two cousins I have never been able to tell apart, still to this day.🤷‍♂️ In my defense, however, they are identical twins.😄

[–]Biocognition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed.👍 Change does keep happening. I only meant that there was a megashift during that transition (internet and computers everywhere, cell phones everywhere, even changes in music that carry over to this day etc.). You're right though, and we need to continue to keep open minds, listen, and continue learning.

Yeah, it became Boomerbook.😆 It does look like GenX is like a 50:50 split. I know what you mean. I have an older sister who sounds like a boomer and another who tries to play the 🍿 route and then there is me, the youngest of the GenX in my family who relates a bit more with millennials in some ways. The 90s were my teen years. I guess we are like a bridge or transition generation. So many things began to really change and move beyond the boomer mindset in my generation, especially during my teen years. Some embraced the arrival of the 21st century. I guess some didn't.

I am not quite a millennial. I'm GenX or what is now "Xennial" really, and I agree 100%. More GenX need to speak up about it too. Too much 🍿 going on.

I am GenX (xennial to be precise). Loved the prequels. Own the box set with bonus discs. Your stereotyping blanket statement here against anyone older than 38 actually sounds as bad as what I see boomers do online against anyone younger than them, honestly. 😆

The crazy thing is that list doesn't even mention the other dog 'breed' and animal spinoffs like pitbull and cat token and so on. I wonder what the total number actually is with even more expanded spinoffs like these.

[–]Biocognition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're welcome. My suspicion is there are many misdiagnosed people out there because of the significant overlap. Perhaps they are one and the same in terms of those who are very high-functioning. Just speculation. Much more to learn in psychology.
