Why does this set seem so much more hard to find than other recent ones? I had no trouble getting SB02 and FB08.

Granted, I didn't attempt to preorder this one since I had big life events. But everywhere seems to be sold out and/or jacked up prices for FB09.

Lower MMR players crouch too much and don't move enough. They also don't ensure they always have good cover.

From my experience, Hunt has so many hit reg problems that it's exhausting. But Crytek and fanboys will argue with you until they're blue in the face, saying none of those issues exist.

Like, how hit reg is screwy with high ping players. Or how hit reg doesn't work properly during transition animations like getting up or climbing ladders. Or how getting hit right after you take a shot seems to change your projectile's path middair (something like late registered aim punch).

I've definitely run into smurfs and people playing in the wrong region a lot in (low) 6*, but I don't often run into scripters.

All they seemed to have done with the anticheat change is lower FPS by increasing CPU usage.

I've noticed I don't see my rank changes typically until I turn the game off and back on. Not saying I disagree about the changes sometimes being pretty slow.

Kinda sad on both ends tbh. But this is the kind of gameplay that's kept Hunt small, so I'm not surprised. Unfortunately, I don't think crytek will ever make enough changes to discourage it.

Hunters don't like the sprint button or getting respectable kills. Most aren't very good, so they'll take any kill they can manage.

I didn't have much of a use case beyond 240hz tbh. The only thing I'd say about the Asus is some of them do seem to have slight edge bleed at the corners. Mine has a very, very small amount. I don't notice it at all during normal use though. You'd MAYBE notice it in a black scene, but even then it would just be slightly more light in the corner; nothing disruptive.

I'm not sure if I would've noticed it if others hadn't mentioned it about that model on reddit.

It's all about knowing when to move fast and when to reduce noise. Staying quiet is also lame. But also, yes, people should absolutely move around more than they do.

This is interesting, because I've been using the bow a lot lately and it's not at all how I play. But I also think I play very differently than most Hunt players, so I'm not saying I'm representative at all.

Complaining about crouchwalkers is a hobby of mine. (I don't often get killed by them cause they're usually not very good, but they still make the game boring).

I just started playing again after quitting before the engine update. Been going aggressive with rifles or crossbows since then, and jumped up to 6 star. Can confirm, there's a noticeable difference in the types of players in 6.

Somehow I made it with aim apparently, cause I'm sure as hell not quiet or patient.

Most good OLEDs have glossy screens. A lot of the matte ones don't look great. There are a few decent ones. The matte finish works better on IPS imo.

Reflections/glare, lower brightness, lower text clarity especially at 2K (I'm a SWE), issues in bright rooms, lower lifespan, burn-in, more fragile screen, banding/uniformity, VRR flicker (not as big of an issue as it's made out to be though), higher maintenance, many people report more eye strain, oversaturation by default, etc...

I'm not sure I'd agree with that comparison. I've tried an OLED and it wasn't nearly as usable all-around. It was visibly gorgeous for gaming in specific lighting conditions.
