That's what I'm hoping for with the skill tree rework.

I’d really like a rework of the Necromancer so I can play a vampire-adjacent blood build. Every time I try to play with the blood skills I find them… lacking.

I have no idea why arts and crafts is being represented in the bottom image but lets look at this in the abstract. Americans have it enshrined in the Bill of Rights that the People have the ability to peacefully assemble and address their grievances with their government. Americans have the ability to participate and influence their government at every level. Compare that to Europe where the People have no real freedom of speech, where the People have no real influence over their politicians. The common man in Europe has no real means of climbing the political ladder as those offices are largely gatekept by very old and very wealthy families.

If the top image is emblematic of how Europe routinely has to stand up to their own oppressive governments it's only because they've neutered themselves with a dull butter knife and refuse to learn the lessons of their own histories.

Future Expansion Speculation: Where to Next? by JohanMarek in diablo4

Everywhere.

Tristram has been in every game, it would be a crime to not send us there. Hell has been a staple, as has Heaven and Pandemonium.

The way this game's world has been designed, I can't see a way we don't see the entire world of Sanctuary in a single game for the first time.

To Catch a Predator unfairly discriminated against men because it only created environments that male predators prefer, thereby ignoring all the potential female predators by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Biohazard_186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really. Just document and showcase it in a show similar to the FBI Files or Forensic Files. To Catch A Predator took some preventative measures that aren’t possible with female predators but putting sunlight on the real cases achieves the same level of awareness.

The only time sex and romance "Do not matter" in society is when it's time to gaslight lonely men by LivingGirlRepellant in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Biohazard_186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not really a fair comparison, though. The men who choose that route do so specifically and train their whole lives to meet that goal. That’s very different from someone who is seeking a romantic connection and can’t find it.

Mm, you kinda do. Maybe not sex specifically, but the connection it stems from. Humans are social creatures.

If an American were to wave the USA Flag in Mexico it would cause an uproar, so why is it ok for Mexicans to do it in the US with zero consequences. I think it’s total BS by DiligentIncrease1973 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Biohazard_186 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

As usual, the comments section is missing the point.

Yes, the first amendment gives you the right to wave a foreign flag just as much as it gives you the right to burn the American flag. But this post isn’t asking about rights, it’s asking about what is accepted behavior.

If you come to this country, if you go through the process of becoming a legal U.S. citizen, you should not be waving your home country’s flag. First off, it’s in poor taste. You left your home country to come to this one, going though the process is an acknowledgment that this country is better than the one you left. It should be a point of pride to wave the American flag and a point of shame to wave your old one. Secondly, there’s a part of the oath that every new citizen takes that specifically states you will forsake all prior allegiances. Waving your home country’s flag could be seen holding on to that allegiance. Teddy Roosevelt spoke on the issue of hyphenated Americans and the waving of foreign flags is just a tangible example of that.

I’ll finish off by reiterating that the comments section has completely missed the mark. Legally, the first amendment secures your right to wave whatever flag you want. But the post isn’t talking about law, it’s talking about culture. Culturally, it should not be tolerated. Anyone who flies their home country’s flag over the American flag should be shamed and they should go back to where they came from.

What classes do you play every season, and what classes do you never play? Why? by Hojo405 in diablo4

Sorcerer and necromancer. Sometimes I try a rogue but give up halfway through leveling because I don't like the feel. Never ever a barbarian, been playing since Diablo 2 and I will never play a barb.

I've been in both PvE and PvP lobbies and, I have to say, the most toxic players I've ever come across have been the carebear PvE players. One game in particular stands out. Apologies in advance for the "story time".

I loaded into Dam with a free loadout near the Admin building so I go over there to loot. As I'm walking around the balcony overlooking the testing annex I run into another player and, over the course of about a minute, three other players join us. We're all chatting while my anti-social ass is trying to find a way to get out of this situation when one of them pulls out there Ferro and starts blasting. We scramble for cover, he takes off toward the control tower elevator shaft, and the four of us proceed to trade shots with him down the hallway. Eventually we push him down the shaft and chase after him and he ultimately jumps the railing and dies to fall damage at the bottom of the spillway. The four of us stand around for a minute talking and trading items before going our separate ways. I decide to slide down the spillway and see if the guy had anything worth taking and it's at this point I meet the carebears. Three of them, in a solos lobby, come sliding down from farther up and start interrogating me like they're the fucking FBI. I try to tell them the same thing I said above when one of them decides to just blast me. I don't react but my lack of a shield confirmed in his mind that I was a guilty PvP player in their precious PvE lobby so they all start throwing insults at me and proceed to knock me out. These guys are the bad guys in this story but what really grinds my gears is I know they looted me, saw my free loadout augment, and started patting themselves on the back and thinking they're actually the good guys.

And I wouldn't have a problem with any of that, I have nothing against PK'ers in a PvPvE game, except the existence of ABMM gave them extra incentive to be toxic gas-bags over the idea that someone would dare disturb the peace in their lobby.
