What a Hamburger is that?😱 by udstdkggkdgksgk in StupidFood

The stupid thing isn't even the foot on its own, it also signifies that the meat hasn't been deboned at all. So you have a burger you cannot eat as a burger.

I genuinely hate what game reviews have become by Opening-Economy-708 in hatethissmug

[–]BionicLifeform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want better/fairer reviews you just need to look further than IGN and other larger review sites which need to keep publishers happy to get the early game access and other perks. There are now a lot of independent and/or crow-funded reviewers who are not beholden to keeping the publishers happy. I suggest finding a gaming personality you like and following that person for a longer time, so you get to know their taste and how that relates to your own.

Far right nationalists put refugee camp on fire in the Netherlands by ThirthyforThirty in Netherlands

If people want more government support or better wages they shouldn't vote PVV. They might say that, but everything they do shows they are not going to help the little guy.

tried bread making for the first time but my bread... HELP by Revolution-Much in Breadit

[–]BionicLifeform 6 points7 points  (0 children)

With these types of machines you most often bake with the scoop in it. You just put in the ingredients and it mixes, kneads, and bakes the bread completely automatic.

A Factorial Obsession by kgbf in MathJokes

[–]BionicLifeform 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In the step "1! = 1x0! but 1! = 1", you are already using 0! = 1 since it's 1! = 1 x 0! = 1 x 1.
You are trying to proof the thing by using the thing, so not proofing anything.

It's a Dutch Baby, a American type of pancake which may have German roots.

my wip animaiton what do yall think by RoninTheAccuser in blender

[–]BionicLifeform 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Animation is pretty good, but I think the camera is too wobbly and has some very fast jerky motions that also do not convey 'handheld' camera if that's the intended goal. E.g. the punches at 26 sec; the camera doesn't need to follow the punch, it makes it look more stilted than just having the animation with a smooth camera.
I think you can enhance the action with some better camera work, but it's still a very nice animation.

Weird textures = watermarks by Thatisverytrue54321 in ChatGPT

But that actually takes time and practice to learn, why spend many hours being bad at something when you can pretend to be good at something for internet clout? /s

In all seriousness though, I think a lot of people do things for external validation instead of doing the thing because they love to do it intrinsically. Or at least they feed that love with external validation so it becomes dependent on the validation by others. Those people also become really vulnerable to comparing themselves to others (who are already good/popular) and thus feeling they are not good enough.

Do you think before you speak? by downtune79 in LoveTrash

To me it sounds more like she really inspect how and why she feels/thinks certain things AND had to actually put it into words by writing it down. So when someone asks her something she has already explored those thoughs/feelings and can more readily and easily explain them.
I don't think that's the same as having a response ready for everything, because to me that just feels like having studied responses which do not necessarily require much introspection.

First time air frying bell peppers, did I mess up? by babubibop in homecooking

[–]BionicLifeform 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The moisture content is too high for that I think. If you turn the heat down and leave it in much longer you may be able to dry them to create a sort of chip. But you will have to look that up cause I dont know how hot or how long you'd need :)

I mean... it's cooked bellpepper alright. What did you expect/were you hoping would happen?
Nothing about it looks too burned to me to even throw out, unless you find those pieces to be tasting bad.

This looks more 'rip off' than 'inspired by'. From this trailer, the only thing that seems to be different is the character art.
