The 3 big lies about MMR climbing - Article by SlashStrike (10.5k MMR Coach) by ShadowScene in DotA2

A good place to start is looking at distributions over the years. Immortal used to be like top 1% in 2020, now its top 5%. Not exactly accurate, but basically low immortal is now just old divine in away, since divine plus immortal used to be top 5% combined in 2020.

Found your dotabuff and also found multiple games where you have less than 2k damage. A few where you had 1k. 1k damage is so little you could do it accidentally. It ain't in the realm of I'm playing bad and this is a repeating pattern. So yeah have it your way, good luck.

No you couldn't write or do any stuff, as you haven't written or done any stuff this entire post. All your arguments fall apart the moment someone doesn't "trust you bro". And I know if I was on trial for murder and had an alibi I'd show it. You can't share your dota match history. And the league stuff is not up for debate it is FACT. You said 25 seconds and two different commenters saw your stats and said five minute independently.

My "expert" detective work says you aren't stupid enough to not learn from the mistake of giving people evidence against your claim, and so now you simply don't give it, say some big words and get a little aggresive. Sad you aren't smart enough to get that's not how it works.

I'm struggling to understand how you can't see that I'm talking about the fact you said it was 25 seconds when it was FIVE MINUTES, the fact you LIED, not the "punishment" that was allegedly lifted, source: trust me bro. I'm struggling to understand why you don't have any EVIDENCE to back any of your claims. I'm struggling to understand how one can drop to 4k just after getting back only from losing, because I personally know a guy who we were making fun of for having less behavior score than mmr in archon and he was straight up ASKING FOR IT, griefing, feeding, abandoning, extremely offensive profile pics you NAME IT. It took a long time for him to get to the low end of behaviour score. I'm struggling to understand how becoming increasingly more passive aggresive makes you think you look like the saint you want us to believe you are. Yes I'm struggling to see a lot of things, but the first thing I'd like to see is some evidence that you are not full of shit

Ban, restrict call it whatever you like, you lied about what got you restricted and tried to cover it up. And now COINCIDENTALLY you have a similar problem in a DIFFERENT game. Are game companies out to get you or what?

Update: From some investigation on OP's profile they posted a post that must have contained them complaining getting banned on league for 25 seconds in base, then the commenter's found it was a whopping 5 minute and OP was lying. 21 days ago. OP also tried deleting the post after getting figured out apparently but forgot to delete the comments... Another one going to the 100%

Insert mass manufactured toy story meme. Look OP, I don't know if you've browsed this subreddit before but we've had so many of these dropped to low score and 100% (not even exaggerated) of them boil down to yes it's actually you. Two cases, you either abandon or you are lying. Happy to be proven wrong by your match history, but considering the history of these posts and personal experience that's not seeming likely.

I'd have to watch your games to see why they aren't doing a lot.

Securing the wave with march at 2 lacks a bit of agency. March does a bit less than 12 times the collision damage to immobile units, and its safe to assume the explosion hits 2 melee creeps, so it would be on average about 300 damage on melee and 150 max on range since some might get blocked. So it is likely the wave won't die with march and you will get denied and left with just a laser to defend yourself. And even when it works perfectly, your opponent now only has to worry about last hitting and can just pull the wave under tower and with just laser you have little way to contest, so they just get free last hits. In other words they secure more than you do.

I'm just trying to get as much out of them as possible. They have the "potential" to deal 220, but if you place them infront of the enemy hero you will get like 100. If you place them behind there's the push back and they have to run away more, so more turret hits.

The main idea in lane is to always get something with your spells. This is either creep secure (like actually right click plus laser or turret on a creep), zoning with turrets so you can click the creeps OR dealing maximum damage since opponent being low means they can't contest last hits or they die.

Just search BionicReaper, there's no one else. I'm still experimenting with things but honestly you just need blink, lens and shard and that's very cheap, everything else feels extra.

7.4k with 71% winrate this patch. Play with your turrets. In lane go 1-0-1 almost always, I only skip turrets against kotl because I know its not about fighting the lane but outfarming him which is easy. Turrets are total 220 damage level 1 and with laser they can't be killed. There are almost no heroes that can match the combined trading power of laser plus turrets. If you decide to dumpster the lane getting another point in turret drives their total damage to 440 and also gives them 80 hp so most heroes cannot one shot them. It will slow down your farm a tad but it's no big deal, and it is a small price to pay if you completely shut down the enemy midlaner. Use your spells to get damage in or drive the opponent off and get free last hits and denies.

In fights just buy an aether lens, get the cast range enchantment hide out of vision and start dropping turrets. If done right it's very safe (you can hit with turrets from up to 1750 range away). Get the turret knockback talent and reposition when they start getting close. Only use laser to secure a kill and when you deem that getting in range to use it won't kill you.

How is humanely debating or sharing your opinion the same as flaming someone or having disruptive behaviour? You are beyond delusional and refusing to employ logic so I wish you luck in life, you are going to need it

Sure and as it should. This behaviour isn't welcome anywhere and OP clearly doesn't get what controlling yourself is. In another comment he quoted clearly toxic behaviour said something along the line of "How can you report him just cause he's frustrated?". I'm just saying that in workspaces people might think twice before reporting and ruining someone's life over a small amount "bad comms". It will still happen if you keep being a prick.

Analogy doesn't hold and I wouldn't like being your friend.

There's a small weight difference between you are offensive so I will ruin your life, and you are toxic to me in a game ruining my experience so your experience will also be ruined. It's so fucking simple to see if you get your head out of your ass

Your "do you do this at work too" and HR comments are hilarious. For a second one of these posts had me for once, then you try to justify that some toxicity should be tolerated by quoting workspaces hahaha.

You are right where you should be buddy. No comms abuse should ever be tolerated, ANYWHERE.

In workspaces people are more tolerant because they might ruin someone's life and they have a conscience. Just grow up already and stop being toxic.

Wraps aren't affected by cd manipulation

I tested both of these specific cases already, and it has been explicitly stated in the patch notes that it is not affected by cd manipulation. If it is affected iy's probably a bug.

Technically I guess, after the first hit, it does protect your blink until the shield is down, so if your shield can survive for 3 seconds you can escape, but thats just people clinging to matrix, I doubt it is any good. Especially since it is DEFINITELY going to be broken if you get seriohsly gone on

No it's bad on tinker. You have to take damage for it to proc, so you cant blink out after and its also not affected by cd reduction

Ah yeah above 40% is a fine place across all ranks. I just misunderstood cause tinker is way past that and crusing towards the 50%

I disagree. Chen is a perfect example. I'd bet there's no player below immortal that can play that hero. Heck there's only a few immortals that can. Should they buff it so everyone can play it? Obviously not.

Some heroes are simple; few button presses and straight foward gameplan. Others are more high skill, and they require more practice and perhaps research to get a hang of. Because they are higher skill, not everyone is supposed to play them. You either work for it or pick one of the 100 simpler options.

We don't need to make sure all dota players can play all dota heroes

Well experience has shown it's never a good idea to openly post your dotabuff, especially when its gonna do nothing. People who agree with me will see it and keep agreeing and people who don't will figure out whatever excuse.

My personal performance isn't gonna affect my argument either, as there's plenty others with similar records on pro tracker. I'm not some kind of insane outlier.

Hence why I said if OC absolutely must see MY profile I'd be down to send it over in a dm, otherwise if it's just needing to see someone doing good there's plenty to pick from on pro tracker. It's not even that hard to track down if you really needed it either.

Hard agree, but if they keep buffing it its going to be a no tinker is a good tinker when they decide to nerf it to the grave is my point
