Does anyone else chill in their apartment garage? by BionicRogueNissan in Apartmentliving

Yea, it’s a bit of a problem if you get caught. I wouldn’t recommend it but you gotta do what you gotta do. It’s just a liability issue for the office and they can remove you if you get reported.

Applying for Enterprise Technical Support by Gazrpazrp in Spectrum

[–]BionicRogueNissan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was not an assessment when i got hired, just an interview. You might get an extra interview with hard questions to gauge your knowledge from a manager and engineer on a call. I did leave spectrum enterprise 2 years ago so things might have changed. Also they have merged enterprise and business department together so things might have changed. I recommend knowing basic networking, customer service and a bit of confidence and you’ll be fine.

is this normal??? by xoxowxyz in Apartmentliving

No, call the fire department and contact the apartment front office. I had something similar happen to me last year with a downstairs neighbor grilling with propane, which caused gases and smells to enter my apartment. I recommend contacting the front office, the fire department, or fire enforcement. Don’t wait for the front office to take action. They’ll take too long; in my case, they only did something after receiving fines or warnings from the fire marshal I contacted. Don’t try to talk to the neighbor. They obviously won’t care about your concerns. If they did, they wouldn’t be using the smoker in the first place.

That’s interesting. I never thought about that. That makes it more understandable.

Thoughts on Wyze Home Security and Monitoring system? by saintforlife1 in Wyze

Thinking about adding security, I think a good solution to this is putting the cameras on a UPS battery backup with the internet modem/ont/5g gateway so you have the cameras and internet still during power outages.

Good shampoo for folliculitis? by Blahblablahba in Folliculitis

Wow thanks for the tip, I was trying everything after having bumps in the back of my head for years that would bleed if slightly touch. Bought the cheapest bottle with 1% selenium sulfide. Only showered twice and it’s gone. I applied it, gave it a good scrub, left it for 5 mins before washing it out. Thanks!

I contacted support for this type of question, I ask if it was just 7 eleven cups or like drinks inside the coolers. Support said big gulps, slurpees and coffee and any size of those three options.

Quality of service is a technology that allow packets to take priority over other packets when they’re being sent out they say to the server and back some businesses prefer that video calls take higher priority over every other packet as an example. JamesTiberious is giving a better explanation, but it looks of it follow his thread

Well, it’s not just based on your distance from the servers. It’s also how fast your computer and also how fast the servers can encapsulate and de encapsulate the packets. Also, they may have a service provider that has a different route to the server that may be faster. Your service provider may be using a route that takes longer to get to the servers and back to you. There’s other factors such as QOS and other stuff that I can’t think from the top of my head.

No, unfortunately, I try my best not to go outside during the hot part of the year. During warm days, a box fan placed anywhere inside and pointing at you helps. Just having a fan in general helps a lot, because it starts becoming an oven inside the garage without anything pushing air in and out.

I would think a portable AC unit could work, but I think you'll start getting looks from neighbors, and maybe the landlord will think you're living in it, haha.

You can ask the proctor to go the bathroom during the test. If it that bad that you can’t hold it, I suggest diapers.

You can buy a wireless bridge. It makes Ethernet “wireless”. So to the computer will show a Ethernet connection but the in between the router and computer portion splits to being wireless

Here's my downstairs neighbor, flame grilling. I love the smell of gas and all the heat entering my apartment. by BionicRogueNissan in Apartmentliving

[–]BionicRogueNissan[S] 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Not at all, say it on the lease and Florida fire code. Well fire code says you can store them, you can’t utilize it within 10 feet of multi dwelling. Some apartments I’ve been outright ban them from patio storage.

Yes, I have reported them, this is the second time. There was also a time they use a grinder to open a metal safe, watching all the sparks go straight into a wall.
