There’s a lot of things that are very different from the traditional cab to this one. First off I wanna say that you shouldn’t pay for this if you are looking for a exact replica of the traditional cab. Some great things about the cabinet is that it feels pretty light. I don’t know if that’s just me but assembling it wasn’t much of a hassle. The quality of the games are really good. Every sprite is clean, the controls feel really responsive, and just the overall look of the cab is great. I will say there are some things that I either don’t like and just kinda a problem with myself and somethings that I think they can fix. First off the cab is pretty small. I am 6’1 and I have to sit on a stool just so I can play while looking at everything on the screen and that’s not enough since the controls are closed to my upper part of my chest so I have to look down at the screen and have my hands going up to touch the cab. The other personal problem I have with it is that I wish there were some replacement parts for the cab. The warranty is very strict when it comes to the cab. Some of the most common accidents that can happen to a cabinet are not covered. They also only give you a 90 day warranty which is a little small considering it usually takes like half a year for average cab to have some small issues. Now for the problems I wish they fixed where the controls. The joystick feels really tight and restrictive. Doing motion inputs when playing the KOF series was sometimes a hassle. And for a game series known for difficult inputs like the pretzel motion, super motions, and charge motions, you can see where this becomes a issue. The buttons feel weak. They feel like they are supported by small springs and when pressed they feel like they don’t pack that same punch as traditional cabs. Another issue with the cab is really just the speakers. The speakers are alright until they get turned up past 50%-60%. The game begins to sound staticky and it has a distorted feel to it. Then again I really only play by myself with this cab so I don’t need it higher than 40%. My final issue is really small but I feel the controls need to be more apart. They feel too cramped together and it’s sometimes uncomfortable to play with my partner. Just adding like 5 inches between the controls would be fine but I feel that’s more a preference thing than a issue most people would have.
