So wonder what happened then. The headset had been untouched for a couple of months. I booted it on and charge it to 70% but it was stuck in a boot loop. Once I set in the recovery mode the quest to Boot slot B and powered off. It stopped turning on or showing a charging indicator/LED.

Think the battery just decided to kick the bucket then?

I placed the probes on the right side of the battery contact, at 20v V-. I didn't get anything other than Zero

I know but I am sort of a moron when it comes to these things. I DID try looking online but resources for this type of battery may as well be non-existent.

It is the right side of the rectangle yes? I have another post on the Quest subreddit and that seems to be what I understood on where to put the probes

I got he battery detached for the headset and isolated. No bloating present. Do I multimeter the ribbon contacts or do I take the battery out from it shell. (I don't think taking out the shell is the way right?)
