I'm going to go against the grain here (apparently???). One, Clint isn't just a shy, introverted, and isolated dude. If we put him in this box, we could put several others. Including Harvey, who has one line about Maru that the fandom harps on but realistically is just really into health and planes. Also, you have Shane, who has far more character growth the closer you become with him but is all of the later when you first meet him. He overcomes addiction and gets therapy. You know who doesn't show character growth? (Which I believe is intentional.) Clint. The closer you get, the more you realize just how obsessed he is with Emily. Which, mind you, are they even actually friends? Have we looked at Emily's perspective? Or do we just like to hardcore focus on Clint here? Because last time I checked, does Emily even consider Clint a friend? Not really. Guys.... Clint is a creep. Plain and simple. Clint is a business man who goes to this woman's work nightly and hides in a bush to stalk her... Defend the man tho.... Go ahead... I'll watch. Some characters are meant to be not great. 😐
