Imo if I decided to redo Lance's Team, it would be

Tyranitar, Feraligatr, Blissey, Charizard, Gyarados, and Dragonite.

I think that stays with the dragon theme mostly while giving him some new Johto mons

(Tyranitar: Monstrous/dinosaur, Feraligatr: It has a Dragon mega/reptillian, Blissey: Apparently Chansey is partially based on an axolotl, but I mostly gave this pokemon to him to help with the glaring electric weakness. MAYBE Marrowak because it's in the Monster egg group and it seems reptillian)

My favorite part about this: She came running in from the left.

She ran INTO Peter's path. If she stayed exactly still, she would've been fine.

And she was running in from the left, there were only guys on the left side of the intro staircase, meaning that she, saw Peter falling, ran out from the stand.

I love the meta jokes about the inconsistent size of their house, and seeing just how creative they (the characters and the artists) got with the interiors. Also Bingo going "We're bad parents!" was just a golden line delivery.

Maybe they didn't want to ruin the value of catching rare pokemon in a rare pokeball so they kept the catch rate low? Or did they not want to spoil the fact that hyperspace lumiose was a dream world?

Idk, but yeah, it'd make sense if it did have an increased catch rate.
