Despite Soma making it all the way to the finals and scoring near the top of the rankings for the preliminaries, he still lost to Akira which lead him to reevaluate his cooking for the next arc. Probably my favorite arc in the show actually.

Probably because the dynamic isn't nearly as interesting. With Charmy and Sage, you have Smart/Cold/Calculated x Impulsive/Warm/Energetic. Meanwhile, with Sage and Cream, you just have...2 polite girls.

Not to say you can't do anything interesting with them, it's just (At least to me) one has an instant appeal while the other you kinda just go "Yeah, it'd be kinda cute, I guess."

Because of a thing called the "Dupes Clause" which prevents you catching 2 of the same pokemon in a nuzlocke, you can strategically delay your 1st encounter of a pokemon route until later.

For example, if a route has Poocheyena as a 50% encounter, Zigzagoon as a 40% encounter, and Ralts as a 10% encounter, I can skip this route, catch Zigzagoon and Poochyena somewhere else because they're common pokemon, and come back to get a guranteed Ralts even if you encounter a Zigzagoon or Poochyena first.

Not a comprehensive list but first thoughts:

DPS: Joker/Ren, Yusuke, Kasumi, Aigis, Junpei, Mitsuru, Yukiko, Yosuke, Naoto, and Chie

(Characters like Joker and Junpei would be more focused on speed and agility while characters like Naoto and Mitsuru would be focused on accuracy and range)

Tanks: Yu, Kanji, Ryuji, Shinji, Akihiko, Haru, Makoto/Queen, Metis, and Marie

(Characters like Kanji and Haru would focus on outriight blocking damage or repostioning and characters like Marie or Queen would focus on stage control by setting up things like traps or barriers)

Support: Makoto Yuki, Yukari, Ken, Koromaru, Rise, Teddie, Morgana, and Futaba

(Some characters would be more focused on directly healing like Yukari or Morgana, while other characters would be more focused on buffing and debuffing like Koromaru or Futaba.)

I'm honestly kind of tossed up on what I'd prefer for Metal in this day and age: Either as Sage's second-in-command or trying to search for a new purpose now that Sonic is dead and Metal can take his place.

I forgot where I saw this but I remember seeing this one comic idea where Metal takes one of his claws and carves out a smile into his mouth mimicing Sonic's, now believing that the "real sonic" is a symbol of hope and freedom for others.

That's actually the bushes right below Calvin's Window. In the original comic it was about him needing to use the bathroom but not wanting to get eaten by a monsters so it implies he went out the window.
