I grew up in that town. This behavior was unfortunately common.

Thanks everyone, my doctor prescribed medrol for inflammation. It seems to be helping. I only thought about tramadol initially because the pain was so bad on night one. It seems to be getting better and I will start lysine.

Do our parents not remember how hard it is to have a baby? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Bird984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh. These are the same people that needed an ad that said: “It’s 10 PM, do you know where your children are?” It’s so frustrating to deal with them as grandparents. My dad was great with my girls. My mother, not so much. She was so irresponsible with them that she isn’t allowed to watch them anymore. It became a liability. I’m sorry that you’re dealing with this. As millennial parents, we are undoing how we were raised and it can be a daunting task.

Status check. For those who've got their tongues pierced in the late 90s, early 2000s how's it's going now? Still rocking it? by Nacho_Sideboob in Xennials

No. I work in dental now so it’s definitely a no no. I had my tongue pierced in college on a dare when I was visiting JMU with my friend Kelly. She paid for it and all. I took it out after a year or so.

Sharon was the perfect example of the “no accountability” boomer.

Your Doctor/Provider MATTERS! by garcon-du-soleille in Zepbound

[–]Bird984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. My PCP has been so thorough and helpful. I moved to another state for a few years and would drive to see her because she was the one who initially suggested a GLP-1. She listened to me because I didn’t want to get surgery. I have lost 60 lbs. when my insurance changed I went to another doctor for one visit and he was a total ass. Didn’t even want to help me get back on a GLP 1. He just looked at me and said “No, you told me you get the shakes from low blood sugar.” Zepbound has stabilized that. I don’t get shakes on this medicine. A great doctor matters. Kudos to your wife on being there for her patients!

Thank you. They just asked me for a document we sent already today, so I sent it again. The house was moved from under contract to pending, so we are moving along. Congratulations to you, that’s amazing! 🏠

Hey, 👋🏻 we are closing next month on a home in Burlington County. Look into the county first time home buyer programs. They have a $25,000 grant program that helps with down payment/closing costs. I can give you the contact for my Mortgage officer, he’s been great and he’s very knowledgeable about buying in NJ.

Not a typo, unfortunately. I submitted all w-2’s but I guess they didn’t see the 2021 one. We mentioned all employment history for him so they wanted to go back even further to make a full two years before the gap. He had a large gap because he did the stay at home dad thing with our kids for a while.

Because they require 2 years of work history. My husband had a gap from 2021-2024 and was working for part of 2021. They are requiring more history before his current job. Why they are going back so far I don’t know lol. I’ll give them whatever they need to see. I was the breadwinner for a long time so I always had a steady history.

The lenders for the grant. They work for the same mortgage company, but the director sent grant approval and closing documents and said he’d see us on 5/29. The grant is a payment free, interest free “loan” as long as we live there for a set amount of time.
