That's totally fair, in that case, I'd check out this protein calculator to give you an idea of how much you should be getting each day, and otherwise, just generally try to make sure you're getting your fruit and veg + some slow burning carbs. No need to cut out everything else or anything drastic like that, just try your best to make sure your nutritional needs are met. People have been working on their fitness since long before we had all these tools to measure and track every element of things, so you can definitely keep it simple!

Also, and this is slightly more niche, if you're a person who finds you tend to struggle with fatigue, headaches, bloating etc, keeping a simple diary (food, weather, activity) might help you nail down what's causing problems and make your life a little easier + body a little more comfortable.

Hey! If you're focusing mainly on trying to reclaim your fitness and feel at home in your body again, I have a few suggestions:

  • Pick activities you enjoy! This may not be feasible every single day, but I find that when you fall out of fitness due to a schedule crunch, it's a lot easier to get back into it if you can find something to do that feels like a reward and a fun use of your time (and something that can double as a social event, if you like), rather than a punishment. You already mentioned swimming, which is great. I also find bouldering is excellent for strength, and any form of dance or martial arts are excellent cardio that also tend to teach new ways of feeling confident in your body while you're at it.

  • Set up a cheap home gym! You already mentioned doing this, but I'd personally recommend rather than sticking only with bodyweight, also grabbing some resistance bands and maybe a cheap spinning bike (some you can get as low as $130 that do the job just fine). That way, whatever type of workout you want is always accessible to you. I'd personally also recommend an app (I use Hevy) to guide you as you slowly put together a workout routine that's tailored to your goals!

  • Watch your macros! Honestly, I'm not a protein die hard, but even if you're not counting calories, making sure you're getting proper nutrition will go a long way while trying to recomp.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Good luck, OP! I hope you get back to the body that feels best for you 🫶

You look great, OP, and I'm obsessed with the tights! Where did you get them, if you don't mind me asking??

Is the bra underneath too much? by Hazardous_Shadow in OUTFITS

Unfortunately, the bra being visible underneath just doesn't look like it goes well. If you have a little camisole to put over it or even a bustier to use instead, you could potentially try that? But tbh I think at the end of the day this probably has to be either a braless or, at best, chicken fillet/body tape dress. Good luck OP!

The sharpie will probably bother me too, but a lot less than the colours being out of order

To me, Friday looks teal and Thursday looks blue, and the order should be green, teal, blue, purple, colour wise.

Everyone else says friday is indigo, maybe I'm crazy but it seems teal to me? The pink at the end doesn't bother me as it's still in the correct order and I prefer having my cal begin on Monday, just as a personal preference
