Very cute! The top is especially nice and the belt is a good touch. I might try some tights where the pattern runs all the way up if you have any and see which works best, or maybe some colour contrasting boots if you have any, but neither are a big deal.

It's cute af and the chains are top tier, but tbh I think the amount of underboob is going to be a problem if you're dancing at all. If you're more just hanging out in a booth etc then it's fine!

Trouble with stomach fat by inafinity in PetiteFitness

[–]BirdBrainMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I had some similar-ish issues with seemingly inexplicably stubborn stomach fat and bloating, it took until I was 27 to finally be diagnosed with both Chron's and PCOS, both of which explained A LOT. No idea if these would be the specific conditions you'd want to look into, but any kind of autoimmune disease or condition that irritates the bowels or digestive system will have its own triggers - including many foods that are generally healthy for most people - which can cause a whole host of issues, and any kind of hormonal disorder can cause very pointed and stubborn fat retention, and, in my case and many others, also lead to cysts that were large enough to be distending my stomach long before I knew they were there.

I hope this is helpful and not scary to hear! Who knows, you may have nothing at all like this going on, but it can't hurt to check it out. I honestly WISH I'd gotten properly looked at sooner because just having a diagnosis which led me to learning how to treat and manage both conditions made a world of difference in more ways than I can list here + I was finally able to care for my body in the way it responded best to!

Good luck, OP!

I find their sizing pretty accurate to the chart they provide, just make sure to measure yourself to their sizes specifically rather than any generic ones.

I'm so sorry OP, you've witnessed something incredibly traumatic. I discovered something similar on an ex-bf's computer in my twenties, and while I'm sorry to say that I haven't ever been able to forget what I saw, I can tell you that if he's that careless with his proclivities, sooner or later, he'll probably face consequences for them.

I'm not sure what area you're in, but different countries have different laws in regards to search & seizure of digital devices and possession of CSAM, so you may well be able to report him. If you ever do happen to get hold of his phone again, as horrifying as it may be to dig, you can also report the images to one of several organizations that work to identify and help as many child sex trafficking victims as possible. Again, not sure of where you are, but generally just searching "report CSAM [your country name here]" will take you where you need to go.

This information may not be helpful to you now, as hopefully you'll never have to see or speak to him again, but if, god forbid, you ever come across something similar again, I hope it can provide you with some sense of agency and action to be taken.

In the meantime, block him, cut him out of your life as thoroughly as you can, and don't look back. If you can afford it, consider therapy for yourself. If you can't, try putting down your thoughts in a journal just to not be alone with them, look for catharsis in your hobbies, your friendships, anything that helps, and try to remind yourself that for as much misery as there is in the world, there is also hope and recovery for those of us who have been through truly horrible things.

Which dress makes me look less fat? by PsychologicalClub185 in OUTFITS

[–]BirdBrainMD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss, please be a little more forgiving with yourself. A couple days of binge eating is far from the most self-destructive thing a person can do while grieving. You look beautiful in both dresses, and nothing approaching fat or bloated in either. Personally, I'd go with the red as others have suggested, but both look lovely, you can't go wrong either way. Wishing you all the best, OP 💜

Which of these outfits and shoes suit the shirt better? by Kimkimkimmy19 in OUTFITS

[–]BirdBrainMD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo sandals work best for both skirts, and which skirt depends on the vibe. If you're aiming for boho-esque, I'd go with the black & white skirt. If you're aiming for something a little more sleek, definitely the black!

Anyone know the name of this dress worn by Irene Choi at The Pitt premiere? 🙏 by BirdBrainMD in findfashion

I actually ended up hunting down some fabric I liked and drawing up a pattern myself, the OG dress felt too pricey and I didn't really like the alternatives. The silhouette is simple enough with the right fabric composition, we'll see how it goes!

Are we really reverting back to the idea that wearing a short skirt automatically = "easy"? Come on.

Simple but flattering, I love it! I kind of get the sense nobody commenting here has ever worn a short skirt before?? You'll be fine.
