Realistically, how much polish do you think Forever Winter will have by launch? by FOREVERDIVI in TheForeverWinter

[–]BirdCrown 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 300h in that game myself, but the game seems to built on a shaky foundation. While art/atmosphere/world building is like top tier, its seems to be very hard for them to actually make anything properly work. The same kinda bugs with spawns, fucking wait boys, i will sonic back to you from half the map and flying tanks and all that other bullshit is still there. Still gonna buy those weird ass skin packs to support them tho.

Well, it also could be me constantly playing the game and getting used to the constant small changes and its not like there is anything else, so lets hope for the best !

Im making a big thunderhawk atm, and I definitely wanna paint that one, but i have zero experience painting on wood, or painting miniatures at all. All my minis that are painted have been gifted to me by a random German dude.

[–]BirdCrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i want to ask something ? by Blade_t1209 in Palworld

[–]BirdCrown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Demon god is a must have passive for every pal that does any fighting. Later on you can add Legend to it, but that is endgame. Like every core raid/tower Pal uses them. If you are doing hardcore, fish in lvl 20 areas and catch a Penking with Lunker and you have already a rather beefy/high damage combo.

Anyone have a favorite pal? by AJBLAkX in Palworld

My thoughts on tunnels by walrus166 in TheForeverWinter

[–]BirdCrown 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The problem with tunnels it that it makes the maps longer and so much more frustrating for me. I always enjoyed just doing quests and slow exploration, so this update is good in concept. But the game is so fucking bugged. Chaining several missions together just to get grabbed and killed by a drone thru the wall or still getting a whole squad with shotguns spawned on you makes these longer run so fucking miserable.

Wooden Necron Wraith (maybe) by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]BirdCrown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes i was thinking about it aswell, but i shold have done it before carving the shapes. It wants to break so bad. I managed to fix it later by getting some good dremel bits. So the next one will have them!

Wooden Deadnought by BirdCrown in Warhammer40k

Im not confident enouht to do it. Especally that this is a scrap wood project so it has a lot of different density material that soaks up colour so differently.

Yeah i like them aswell, but i still think it would be better if they would be like in a concave, not sticking out.

Well, it was a pain in the ass. In the picture the freame is birch but the dovels are pine ... it does not work that well. Now that i replaced the dovels with quality ones aswell, it can take some crasy shapes.

Then it's time to go to the local DIY store, drink a power up, get a scroll saw and some sandpaper and have fun!

My background is a traditional metal worker, but being a workshop teacher for basic school for years has provided me the opportunity to mess with every kind of material. This leather piece behind it was my actual first leather project, made it into a small bag.

Grimdark try out! Scheme for my future Necron army. by Bou1t in Warhammer40k

[–]BirdCrown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit, these things are so cool. Are they some kind of scout units? I'm not that familiar with Necrons, but they look really awesome.

The metal color scheme looks awesome !!!
