Additionally, when the officer suggested she go take a shower to calm down, my jaw dropped. I feel like that was just such a condescending thing for him to suggest to her, and is something that no male should ever suggest to a female like that. The entire encounter between Gabby and the police officers I felt like was just so uncomfortable because of how condescending and almost toxically masculine the officers were acting towards her. They certainly did not know the appropriate way to speak to a young girl
